Anne's Letter
I’m so very grateful for the time I’ve been gifted in getting to know you and even more so for the time you’ve spent with my brother. He’s been different since meeting you and speaks of you often. I know Ominis has been trying to get him to realize the finality of my predicament, to no avail of course. I trust that you might be able to make more of a difference as I sense a closer connection between the two of you, even more so than what he has with Ominis his childhood friend.
Don’t think I care only about our friendship for the sake of my brother, I have sincerely enjoyed your presence at our home in Feldcroft. It was fortunate our uncle wasn’t present as he tends to put a damper on any fun as of late, and the matter of the spiders is concerning. It is more fun having you around, as Sebastian seems almost at ease when you are by his side.
My gratitude for that alone is immeasurable especially as I am unable to be with him and I often worry he is straying along a dangerous path in search of a cure of me. Anything that would harm either of you is not the cost of saving me, though I, like my uncle, do not believe there is a cure out there. I only ask that you prompt my brother to accept the truth of my situation, though I know it is most likely futile, I cannot bear the thought of him turning to dark magic for my sake. I hope to see you again soon and maybe next time you visit we can speak alone at some point.
Give my love to Hogwarts.
Anne
