Chapter 1

It was storming, this was not normal. Voldemort had come to New York himself and terrified everyone. Macusa was completely overwhelmed with the situation, the Death Eaters had already taken over the British Ministry of Magic. Dumbledore was absolutely right, he had predicted everything it was scary. When the doorbell rang I suddenly jerked away from the window, it flashed and it rained cats and dogs as if it wouldn't stop. I left my seat and walked quietly to the door, although I was a writer I had respect for the Death Eaters and I was at great risk of ending up in their clutches. I opened the door and saw my head of department in front of me "Mr.Harris?" I asked in amazement and looked at the older man "May I ask Ms.Grindewald..." he asked and took his dog away, "Of course Mr.Haaris" I said irritated and let the old man in. He walked over to my kitchen where I asked him to sit down, which he gratefully accepted. "Ms. Grindelwald, I don't have good news..." he said bitterly and my thoughts went straight to the Death Eaters. "Is it about the Death Eaters?" I asked directly anxious and folded my hands in front of me, "Not exactly Miss," he replied rigidly Apparently it was not easy for him to articulate what had happened. "Please speak to me Mr. Harris" I said directly and spoke up to the gentlemen "I'm sorry Artemis...your father was killed by Voldemort yesterday in the nocturnal hours... β€œWhen he said this, I turned pale. They had killed my father so I didn't expect that a few Aurors hadn't come back but that? It was too much. "I'm sorry to have to deliver this message to you, Ms. Grindelwald," the man said and stood up, "I'll go now and I hope you'll feel better soon," he said and left my kitchen out” I said rigidly and pulled my cardigan closer to me. I wasn't crying, I was just shocked at what he was doing to start a war. I didn't get it at all, it was horrible to think about. One morning I got a Patronus.
