Letters That Could Change The World
Fred and George were in the joke shop as usual, it was one of the few shops still trading. "Everyone needs a good joke nowadays" Fred would say everytime the shop was ransacked. They had seen their fair share of trouble, other trader's had shut up shop, but not them, "George, people need a good laugh, that's what we provide" Fred had said after the second time the shop was ransacked, and George was considering shutting up shop.
An owl flew into the shop, it held out it's leg to George, who removed the letter he read his eyes going wide "everybody out, sorry we have to close" he handed the letter to Fred who read quickly he nodded, and mouthed 'workshop'. Harry was the reason they even had the shop, if he needed them, then it was important, Harry had believed in them giving them his winning from the Triwizard Tournament.
Back in Hogwarts an owl sat patiently on McGonagall's desk. She removed the letter and read. It was from Hermione, she knew that Hermione was with Harry and Ron they were doing something. She didn't know what but she knew it was something important, some task set by Dumbledore before he had died.
The letter had the usual pleasantries of Hermione, saying that they were well, that Harry had a plan but he needed her help, and the help of the house elves in the kitchen.
Finally a large black owl flew into the room of requirements through the enchanted window and flew towards Neville Longbottom. He was sat up in a hospital chair. Madame Pomfrey was tending to his black eye and a nasty cut on his forehead. Madame Pomfrey had been fired for treating Muggle born's, but Neville had sneaked her back in, and into the room of requirements. Her job was now never ending. She feared that if things didn't change soon someone would end up dead. Everyone was in a bad way pure blood and Muggle born alike.
Neville removed the letter, seeing it was from Harry he got everyone's attention. He spoke loudly "get everyone, Harry needs us" when everyone was assembled, he read the letter. There was a lot of commotion "how is this going to help anyone?" someone at the back shouted. Luna stood up and spoke loudly her arm in a sling, she was leaning on a crutch and her hair was dirty "listen to me, do we trust Harry potter?" People nodded, Luna continued "he has a plan but he needs our help, this is how we help him" she took the letter off Neville and held it up, and continued "look I don't get it either, but I do know one thing, I'd trust Harry with my life, and if we're being serious, it may come down to it, he maybe our only hope, most of us are going to die" It was a sickening realisation, and one that was probably true. Neville looked at everyone "this isn't a game, it's war".
