Of course a story starts to where people hate each other, of more likely it was a was a one sided hate. They say that if you hate someone you would eventually like them even more because that person has been in your mind like all the time and everyday and the more you think of hate the more you think of them.
That is whats going on to Ominis. He hates Sebastian's new friend, he does. But why cant he stop thinking of her? He was rude to her and it was obvious to her too but her voice was kind, gentle, and sincere with patience. He talk to her like how he always do to anyone arrogant and prideful. But yet it doesn't seem to phase her, is she a hufflepuff?
With all this patience and soft voice she has to be.
Ominis mutters in his own head as he sat down in one of the halls staring at nothing at all since he cant even see anything, shapes? Sure. But only that and he only rely on his wand mostly to walk around about in the castle. Most of the time he just stare at nothing in the halls hearing people talk and walk together, they can hold one another and.. See each other.
Ominis bury that feeling deep down or at least trying too, when everyone is doing normal thing its hard for you to not wanting to feel included too. He heard a footstep walking to him and it sounds familiar.
“Ominis?”
He could recognize that voice again anywhere, funny that his pain in the heart seems to disappear.
“Oh its you. Valeri i supposed? Sebastian talks about you like you're close to him for ages. Seems rather bull. You only know each other for a couple weeks.”
Hes defensive again
Valrei thinks in her mind smiling a bit and crouch down to him
“Could i sit in front of you? It would be rude of me i couldn't speak face to face”
Again why is her voice so…
“Fine. if you think this will get you any benefit you'll be wrong”
“Now why would i? Im no gryffindor”
she sat in front of him and for Ominis it feels as if shes really close to him but he ignores it liking her presence…its soothing and not threatening.
“So what are you?”
“Hufflepuff! Proud and happy to be one.”
“Some people regret going in there.”
“Well im not it means i have charms in my friendship!”
She said happily to him with a big smile he can see it but he felt like she did smile
“You're naive like a child.”
He slipped not wanting to say anything rude but it slipped because of his snake tongue
“Well so are you and all of us, why is that embarrassing? Were still young and naive all in us”
She say that like its nothing for her,
she really is dumb.
Ominis smirks and valeri was quite for a bit and lets out a small giggle, ominis was confused and smirk turns to pout
“What so funny?”
He grumps
“Eheh– its just- you look silly smirking its adorable”
Adorable….
No one has ever make a comment like that. Not even from his mother.
When it was too quite she felt as if she crossed the line abit
“Oh im sorry- i mean adorable not in like mocking way adorable in a cute way because you look cute and all”
That made him even more frozen and his ear flushed
“Stop that already you muggle born–”
He look away trying to calm his ears down
“Im actually half blood”
Valeri sounded a bit sad this time now ominis feel bad somehow
“Wich of your parent is magical?”
“Oh my mom, she works in the ministry and thats why shes close to professor fig and then he found me and then here i am in front of you telling this story”
Now she sound abit happy again but hes curious.
“Hm…then how did she meet your father?”
“Well she has work in the muggle world, stay there for abit and them meet dad when he bump hot coffee onto her!”
She laughs and ominis is used to her laugh now
Its adorable..
“And then then! she was mad and he apologized and her favorite dress was ‘ruined’ she can easily use magic but couldn't because shes in muggle world now its hard. He offered to buy a new dress and so she did since it hot and she hates the sticky feeling.”
She said it like her parents love story is something to be happy about…it sure sounds does unlike mine..
Understandable because of his pure blood status, all the pure bloods have arranged marriage, wether they like it or not. To keep their bloodline save and sound as they say. All this pure blood supremacy shit is nonsense for ominis. He hates his family since their relationship is nothing good anyway. Now he just wants to focus on valeri and her stories.
“So they did ended up getting a new clothes and dad paid for it look like he was short on it but he didn't mind putting it to a tab she said to me, so they did and dad offer to wash her clothes because he ruin it and it was only fair she was hesitate but seeing the trust in each others eyes she just do. So they did and they exchange addresses and then to exchange letters then now me! All those letters and mom finally stood up and said she's a Witch to dad's face and at first he laugh, understable. Then when it's serious he gets serious too. Mom didn't want to burden him anymore so she tried to push him away she said to me but then dad said he doesn't care because he loves her no matter what she is. It was really just adorable they are….I wish dad was here…"
"Was?...is he?..."
"He died of heart problems…not even magic can save him…that's because most hospital in here don't allowed treatment for muggles they say…we did find one that'll help him but they don't have the right things…I was 8 at then Time I didn't understand why he had to leave so early…"
Again. wizard kinds are nothing but selfish pure bloods. even if he is one he would never done this. leaving someone to just die and she had to watch him die as such young age. She sounded even more sad, ominis felt hurt in his chest and hold her hand it was cold so valeri was a bit surprised.
"Maybe he's watching over you now, he's proud you got in Hogwarts and have learn alot of things in here. And you're not alone you have me…a-and Sebastian and all your other friends"
He tried to comfort but it's not his thing to do it but he's trying for her, he felt a sudden warmth, she's hugging him and he froze.
"Thank you ominis…you're a kind friend" she pat his back and he can feel her warmth to his body it was comforting…last hug he got was from Sebastian and it was warm too but hers was just different, he look at her a bit and he could see something different about her he can see her with colors, or is it his imagination because how close she is to him? its yellow and bright just as he imagen what she'll look like.
"O-ok that's enough I'm not good with this comforting stuff–"
he let go putting her hand away gently of course he didn't want to look rude again, he stand up and shakly get his wand
"I'll get going now– best of luck in anything you do-"
"Ominis watch out–"
He hit his face to a pillar and knocked his wand out, valeri quickly got his wand and to him giving him it.
"Oh ominis are you alright?? It was a hard hit-"
She put the wand to his hand, he's holding his hand, and he again got flustered. Standing up quickly and run away somewhere
She thought he was embarrassed because he hit something so she'll wrote later it was nothing, now then off she went to do her assignments.
