Chapter 2
Remus got on the train, like he had so many times before. He walked over to the compartment in which he had met his friends. He couldn’t comprehend it was his seventh year at Hogwarts, his last year at Hogwarts, he still vividly remembered his first year. His first train ride. So much had changed in the past few years he had spent at Hogwarts.
“Moony!” He heard a familiar voice exclaim as he made his way into the compartment.
“Hi, Padfoot” Remus smiled and looked around, “Where are Wormtail and Prongs?”
“I don’t know” Sirius replied and smirked, his face took the form of the infamous Sirius Black grin that girls swooned over. Remus might had swooned over it as well if he hadn’t known Sirius for all his school years. “What was your first impression of me?” Sirius asked, quite randomly.
“I disliked you from the start but I also thought you were ridiculously hot,” Remus admitted, a faint blush creeping up on his face.
”Really?” Sirius laughed, “Eleven year old Remus Lupin, though I was hot?” Sirius laughed.
“Well, what did you think of me?” Remus countered.
“I thought you were this big, scary guy that got into fights” Sirius laughed.
“What?” Remus wheezed.
“Your scars freaked me out! And you were so rude!”
“Do you remember it?”
“Oh yes, I do”
The door to the compartment slid open, James and Peter entered the compartment, James’ face beaming with a proud smirk. He sat down and sat there, his legs bouncing with excitement.
“Prongs, what is it?” Sirius asked.
“She said yes!”
“Evans?”
“Yes!”
“How did you even…?” Remus couldn’t finish his sentence.

The marauders were back in their dorm. They had packed out and were getting ready for bed. Remus was reading a book and trying to focus, but it’s hard to focus when you have Sirius Black, laying in your bed and whining like a child.
“Moony” Sirius elongated the O’s in the nickname.
“What?”
“I’m bored” Sirius whined.
“Then go to sleep and stop bothering me” Remus replied, not looking up from his book.
“You don’t love your books more than you love me, do you?” Sirius made puppy eyes.
“Oh Merlin, I’d prefer to read instead of listen to you whine”
“Mooooooony” Sirius whined again.
“Shut up” Remus groaned.
Sirius kissed Remus. Remus returned the favour. “Will you stop whining now?” Remus asked.
“No” Sirius smirked, teasingly.
“You’re infuriating” Remus sighed and turned away to sleep.
He felt Sirius curling up like a dog next to him. They both drifted into a peaceful sleep.
