Ragathas POV
Dress shopping!!! Me, Gangle, and Pomni were going dress shopping today. While Jax, Kinger, and Zooble went out to get tuxedos. We were having a good time trying on dresses. Pomni said she’d cover it and me and Gangle were nothing but great full. We went to grab some pizza at a local place then went to the mall.
We walked around for a bit then came across a dress shop. We walked around then an older gentleman came over to help us. “Hello girls, is there anything I can help you find?” He said with a smile.
Pomni smiled and said. “We looking for dresses for dance.”
“Oh yes! Prom. Many girls have come to get the perfect dress, tell me do you have a date?”
I shook my heads while Gayle and Pomni nodded. “Oh may I see a picture?” The man said. Pomni held out a picture of her and Jax hanging out in his room. “Oh very nice, very nice. Is he your boyfriend?” The man asked.
“I no know. He no say but I hope!” Pomni said with a shy smile. And my heart melted. She genuinely cared about Jax, and Jax cared about her.
“Ah, have you sorted the colors yall are going for?” The man asked. And Pomni shook her head.
“Was meant to…?” She said, her English still beautifully broken.
“No, you are perfectly fine now let’s pick you each a dress, shall we?” He said with a smile. “And you miss?” He said looking to Gangle.
Gangle held a picture of her and Zooble at the arcade. “Absolutely beautiful dear!” The man said.
He walked us through some isles of dresses and non of them really spoke to me until I saw it… A beautiful purple dress. I had to ask. “Sir do you have any of those in?” I asked praying he’d say yes.
“Just one! It’s very popular, would you like to try it on?” He said pulling the dress from a rack.
“Yes please!” I said. He handed me the dress and I ran to the changing room. And what would you know? Perfect fit!
I walked out and Gangle and Pomni smiled and clapped. The man walked over and said, “Absolutely stunning dear! Is this the dress you’ll be getting today?”
“I think so!” I said beaming. He rung me up and I got some cute shoes as well.
Then Gangles turn. She walked around for a bit. Then her eyes met a red dress with lots of ribbons. “That one…” she whispered. The man again as if magic pulled the dress from a rack and handed it to Gangle. And she walked out of the dressing room beaming. He wrung her up as well and she got some red shoes with little bows on the backs.
Then it was Pomnis turn. She looked around for a bit then she saw a stunning knee length blue sparkling dress with the middle part see through but it had flowers and jewels. Pomni immediately rushed over and pointed excitedly. “Этот, этот!” (This one, this one!)
“Oh that one is limited edition, very rare. You should try it on.” The man said handing her the dress.
Pomni rushed over to the changing room and came out looking absolutely stunning. The dress fit perfectly and I know Jax was gonna fall head over heels for her when he saw her wearing it.
Pomni with no doubts bought the dress. And happily skipped out of the store with us after thanking the man.
We met up with Jax Zooble and Kinger at a Chick-Fill-A and got some food. Jax was causally begging to see Pomnis dress but she kept it hidden. They talked about their experience buying their tuxes and we talked about our experience buying dresses.
Now all we have to do is wait for prom…
