prologue

Regulus Black

00.20

Regulus Black will die today because death cast called him.

He wasn't expecting this, and now he's staring at the phone not knowing exactly what to do.

Should he warn his brother? his best friends? He doesn't know if he's ready to face them and then what would he say? "Hello, I'm dying" No, they would freak out.

He doesn't know how to spend his Last Day, he knows that if he spent it with his friends or his brother it would be even more difficult to say goodbye and then he could put them in danger too.

He looks at the photos with his brother, the ones with his friends and hopes that none of them get the call, then he takes his computer and opens the site for the Last Friends, he doesn't want to die alone.

James Potter

00.30

James Potter will die today because Death cast called him.

When he heard the phone ringing so late he thought something had happened, but then he recognized the Death Cast ringtone.

Now he stares at the site for Last Friends without knowing exactly what to do. What do you do when you're about to die?

He won't tell his parents, if he did they'd keep him locked up in the house for the whole day and he doesn't want to waste his last few hours like that. James searches the classified ads for The Last Friend, not wanting to risk dating a serial killer, that would definitely be the worst way to die.

twenty minutes later, he finds a boy who could be a perfect Last Friend, his name is Regulus and he is a year younger than him.

he texts him to ask if he wants to share their last day and wait, 5 minutes later he gets a reply and the place to meet.

His Last Day is officially about to begin.
