1 I have a family?
"Wait, you're telling me I have a family relation that I've never met?" A dark grey haired girl asked.
"You have three close familial relations you haven't met. A father, an Uncle, and a Grandparent. All of whom want to meet you." The girl's Aunt told her.
"This Uncle is your brother huh?" The girl asked.
"Ebony yes this is mine and your moms brother. Not by Blood but by Friendship. We lost contact a few years before you were born. I sought him out for your mom's funeral. As for your Dad I have a clue who he is." The Aunt tried to calm Ebony down.
"What about this grandparent then Aunt Nat?"
"Yeah about that one I don't know the connection 100%." Nat told the girl.
"So these three people just want me to spend the Yule Holidays with them?" Ebony asked.
"Yup. You leave in 2 hours. I took the liberty of setting the suitcase on your bed." Nat told her.
"Thanks Aunt Natalie. Thanks." Ebony snapped going to her room to pack.
"Oh and don't forget a nice Christmas dress Ebony." Nat called.
"Ugh fine." Ebony called back.
"Ebony I understand this is all so new. But I can't deny your Father the right to see you. If he were to petition for custody he would win. He's employed, has more money, and a higher social standing. He also doesn't have a chronic illness that's killing them slowly. Ebony, he’s already petitioned for custody. The court's told him he had to have you for a time before anything could be finalized. He needs to prove he can be a good parent before they grant custody. So go and have fun this Holiday season." Nat spoke
"You're getting sick again aren't you Aunt Nat?" Ebony asked.
"Yeah. I didn't want to tell you because you shouldn't have to worry about me. But I'm getting sick again. I love you Ebony Sapphire Rose. Get to know your family. This Grandparent and your Uncle are on mine and Sapphire's side of the family. But from what I heard from your Uncle, your Father and Grandparent are good friends of his." Nat soothed.
"Okay. I'll behave Aunt Nat I promise."
"Hey don't forget, do try to hide that gift of yours." Nat warned.
"I will." Ebony said, flicking her wrist to pack up all of her stuff.
"Yes, hide that there." Nat laughed.
"It's a good thing I can add an extension to my suitcase then. Space pocket as I call it." Ebony laughed
"Be careful. We don't know how they will react to the mutation you have yet. Yours is really unique. Sometimes I think your mother fucked a God instead of a human." Nat laughed.
"Sad part is I could see mom fucking Loki if she ever got the chance."
"You only say that because you now know he's real and has been down to Earth."
"Not true Nat not true. Okay it's totally true. But let's be honest mom would so have fucked Loki."
"Yes she would have Ebony." Nat laughed, handing her Skateboard over.
"I think I'll skate to the Airport. We only live 20 minutes from it on the skateboard." Ebony said grabbing her board and suitcase tying it to the back of her board.
"Be careful. I'll see you in two weeks." Nat gave her niece a kiss on the head as she headed out the door.
"Love you Aunt Nat. See you in two weeks unless I wind up loving it there." Ebony called taking off.
Ebony's dark grey locks were only kept from flying everywhere by her beanie, her phone sat in a bag attached to her hip containing her wallet, keys, and other everyday small items. She had wireless earbuds that were blasting Her by SkyDxddy. If anyone saw her they just thought she was the local emo kid. Clutched in her right hand was a mug of coffee while the other was being used for stabilization when needed. She had on a long black sweater with ripped skinny jeans and black boots hugging her body. Her hands were covered in fingerless gloves that nicely showed off her nails that were done just for her Birthday. She had also had her hair done just for her Birthday. It was the only thing she had asked for for her Birthday.
Sure it had been a month and a half since her Birthday on October 31st but she hadn't been able to get her nails and hair done till December 1st. But Ebony didn't mind her gift being a month late. She was just glad they were all together. At the time that was.
Ebony came to a Halt at the front doors of the airport, where she removed her earbuds and downed her coffee. Untying her suitcase from her skateboard and tieing said board to her suitcase she heads into the airport.
"Hello, I need to pick up a ticket." Ebony tells the lady at the desk.
"Name and destination." The lady's badge says Ashley.
"Um Ebony Rose destination New York City." Ebony replies.
"ID please." Ashley seems bored, Ebony observed.
"Oh here you go." Ebony slides the little plastic card over.
"First Class as a minor?" Ashley questions.
"Woah. I have to go and meet My Father and an Uncle I've never met before and they bought the ticket." She explained.
"Here you go." Ashley handed over the ticket.
Flight 107 NYC one way.
Who do they think they are? I hope they don't expect me to fall instantly in love with this place.

Three days earlier Avengers Tower
"Wait, Sapphire died?" The team heard Clint ask whoever was on the phone. "She had a kid? When?...Wait wait wait, so Saph wants me to take care of a kid I've never met if the father is unfit?...Natalie are we sure we're talking about the same Sapphire Rose here?... I haven't seen either of you two since we were 16....No I'll take the kid I just have to figure out work and stuff....Wait Who's the father?... Oh you have to be fucking kidding me.... I'll still take care of the kid even if that idiot is the father.... Nat, how did Saph die?... What's the kid's age and how old?... Ebony that's pretty. How old?... Nat did you just say she's 15? Dear god, I have a 15 year old niece.... They? Hold up. Ebony goes by they/them pronouns.... Non binary.... Okay got it.... I'll inform the father. I'm friends, for lack of a better word, with him. I'll call you back once it's all figured out. Love ya Nat."
"Barton, who was that?" Steve called.
"My sister." Clint replied.
"You don't have a sister. Only a brother." Nat refuted.
"Nat, you remember me telling you about Natalie and Sapphire Rose, my friends when I was like 16. Did everything together?" Clint asked.
"Yeah I do." Nat responded after thinking about it.
"I consider them sisters. Lost contact when Sapphire and Natalie went to College and I was picked up by Shield." He said.
"So what's this about a kid?" Stark asked not even trying to hide the fact he had been eavesdropping.
"So I have a niece I never knew about that I apparently get guardianship of if their father is deemed unfit. But it could also be fought on me getting guardianship due to who their great great grandfather is as well." Clint broached.
"This doesn't sound promising." Banner muttered.
"Congratulations Stark you are Daddy of a 15 year old non binary child who's my niece and Caps great great granddaughter." Clint laughs seeing their faces.
"What?" Steve askes
"Who?" Stark says at the same time.
"Sapphire Rose ring any bells Stark? You would have been 27." Barton throws out.
"Only because it was such a unique name. Pepper, do you remember a Sapphire Rose?" Tony directed to the strawberry blonde just walking in.
"Yes. She was one of the few I didn't have to kick out of your room." Pepper supplied.
"How have you stayed with him?" Nat asked
"Sapphire Rose. If I remember correctly she actually woke up before you and retrieved her own clothing. She was actually leaving as I was coming to wake your irresponsible ass up." Pepper added.
"Thanks, Pep didn't need that much information." Tony called.
"You asked Tony!" Pepper called from the kitchen grabbing a drink. "Why do we ask?" She added.
"Stark is the proud Daddy of a 15 year old Non binary child who happens to be Steve's great great granddaughter and my niece." Clint supplied.
"We'll have to run the DNA to be sure." Pepper immediately added.
"Saph wouldn't lie about this. She was traumatized by her father as a kid and hated every aspect of sex that wouldn't have changed too much in a span of 4 years. Not her trauma." Clint defended.
"What happened?" Nat asked in sign language knowing the others didn't know it very well yet.
"Her father sexually abused her from the time she was 6 to 15 when she and her sister ran away." Clint responded in sign language adding "I was the first person those girls trusted in their life's. Saph wouldn't lie about the father."
"Clint's right she wouldn't have lied." Nat agreed
"I would still like to run it. If it's as bad as what you say she could have been really drunk or even drugged at one of Tony's parties back then. People aren't always the greatest." Pepper placated.
"You take it up with Ebony herself. They aren't going to trust us. They've never met me but I plan on taking guardianship, Stark." Clint spoke up.
"Easy way to settle this. Bring the child here over Christmas. They can spend two weeks here as a starting thing then we can figure out who gets guardianship. I'll start the papers and it will be open between the three of us or we can all share joint guardianship of the child." Steve spoke up.
"That's the best idea any of you have had." Banner added.
"That's settled then." Pepper said making the flight arrangements.
"I'll call Nat.. Alie. And let her know the idea." Clint said, pulling out his phone.
"Earliest flight leaves in three days with no available return flights, I figured if she wants to go home that bad we can return flight her on the SI jet if need be." Pepper said supplying the information
"Natalie, hey it's Clint. So we have a plan all figured out for Ebony."
"Listening." The whole team heard the phone on speaker.
"We booked them a flight that leaves in three days. Flight 107 NYC she spends two weeks her minimum over the Christmas Holidays then we go from there on the guardianship paperwork."
"That's perfect. I will make sure they're ready. Be prepared for fights when they get there. Ebony doesn't know about this yet. Is there anything you need to know of right now?"
"What is Ebony allergic to? Anything they don't eat?" Nat piped in when the rest of the team wouldn't answer.
"Ebony is allergic to Morphine, and Penicillin medication wise and is allergic to strawberries and oranges food wise. She also had bad allergies to pollen. Ebony will eat anything but doesn't like bananas. The texture is weird to them. They'll have it in smoothies or juice and the like but won't eat a banana regularly. Can I ask who all are there?"
"Natasha, a good friend of Clint's. I will help Clint when he gains guardianship or well if any of them gain guardianship." Nat spoke up
"That's why he didn't call me Nat. It threw me a loop. You keep my brother out of trouble Natasha, he's all Ebony has left of Sapphire." Natalie spoke up.
"Natalie, what's wrong with you?" Clint asked
"Bodies shutting down from our childhood. My kidneys shut down last year and my liver went last month. Doctors eatemated I probably have a month left. That's why I called. We lost Saph the second. I can't let Ebony find a second dead body." Natalie broke down into tears.
"I'll take care of her, Nat. You know that." Clint replied.
"Have to go, Ebony's home." With that the call ended.
Clint couldn't believe what he was hearing. He was going to lose both of his sisters within weeks of each other; it wasn't fair.
"Hey let's go get a room cleared out, all of us as a team." Nat decided to drag everyone to the storage room between Steve's room and hers. She threw the door open and walked in and started to drag a gun box into her room. Clint did the same but his held a bow and arrows. Tony and Bruce started to move the last of the science equipment that still needed moving while Cap and Thor moved whatever else they could. It took the team 30 minutes to empty the room.
"Now to pick out furniture for a teens room. What do we put in a teens room?" Tony asked.
"A basic bed for now. Once Ebony gets here we can take them to the shops and get the bedding and furniture they want." Pepper piped up.
"You are a lifesaver" Tony said.

Present day. (Ebony's POV)
Stepping off the plane felt like a godsend. I hated confined spaces like that. I make the mutation itchy and want to be set free. It was amazing and scary being able to alter the space of something without changing its size. I thought I could do more than that but Mom always warned me to be careful. Mutants weren't looked upon very well even in today's age. Maybe my family will be okay with it? What am I kidding I can't get my hopes up, it will only hurt me in the end if I do.
Stepping out of the gate I see a fiery redhead standing next to a blonde fiddling with his ears. The redhead, a beautiful woman, was holding a sign with my name on it. Walking up to them I hold out my hand.
"Hello. Ebony Rose."
"Natasha Romanoff, my friends call me Nat." The red head spoke, shaking my hand.
"Clint Barton, your uncle." The blonde spoke, shaking my hand next.
"Mom never spoke of you." I said before I thought that through.
"We never saw each other after Sapphire and Natalie went off to College. My Job got in the way and it was better if they didn't know what I did." Clint added, leading us to the baggage claim.
"How many do you have?" Natasha asked
"The two on my person, then one her and my skateboard." I replied seeing my skateboard still tied to my bag.
Pulling it off the carousel I turn to my escorts.
"Where to now?" I ask.
"First we head to where you'll be staying then off to the store to get bedding. We didn't have anything that was new." Natasha said, sounding like she was holding back.
"I swear like a sailor no need to hold back with me." Ebony commented off handedly adding "can we make a quick stop for coffee? I need the energy boost if I'm to meet my Father and Grandfather today."
"Sure thing." Clint said steering them to the car.
