This is the rewritten version of the first chapter. I don't feel confident or happy with my original version, and I also think that this will be incredibly interesting for me to see how I've grown, and how my writing style has grown. I will not be reposting my original version anywhere at any time. I hope everyone enjoys my rewritten version, because this is the version that I feel happiest with.
