Yelena loved American Pie, everyone knew it. But she had a second favorite that only Natasha and her Momma knew about. She would dance about to the music, so much that Momma nicknamed her Tiny Dancer.
Looking back now, Yelena sees how her Momma teaching her to dance sequences to her songs helped her survive in the Red Room. Going back to Melina’s farm, Yelena found the record player and some of the records that they had in Ohio.
Coming inside the house, Melina knew someone was there, the music was playing. As she rounded a corner, she saw Yelena in all her glory, dancing flawlessly to Tiny Dancer, being what she wanted to look like in Ohio. Melina couldn’t even find it in her to be upset about every single piece of furniture being moved from its original place. As the music faded into silence, Melina clapped, startling Yelena.
