9º A relief before the return

Dinner was as awkward as it should be.

What Haelyx meant was that it was so uncomfortable and quiet that the guests at the other tables almost cheered in relief when the waiters arrived with new trays of food. The only words that were said were those of the greens to insult the blacks. But the greens were much, much weaker than they should be thanks to Haelyx. So most of the time they could only bare their teeth.

Haelyx mentally reviewed. Currently Aegon only had the certain support of the Lannister family. The current Lord Baratheon followed Rhaenyra, but his son was a follower of Aegon, so that family was in doubt. The Tyrrels were neutral, their house had only recently been in power and they wanted to stay out of it. And the rest supported Rhaenyra. The Starks, the Arryns, the Tullys and the Martels. Aegon was going to lose, he only had faith and the Lannisters on his side.

And the only one who believed in the façade of peace was the King, but Haelyx knew that it was because her uncle had chosen that he wanted to close his eyes this last night and have a happy moment. Helaena's hand bled as the girl dug her nails into her palm as she watched Aegon, half drunk, shoving a hand up the skirt of a beautiful maid shamelessly.

Haelyx saw a maid approaching and knew that she was one of her people. They were going to get Helaena out. Haelyx could escape on her own, Haelyx was strong. Helaena was not. She was weak and she just wanted her children safe

Helaena got up apologizing and said that she had to go see her children. Neither Alicent nor Aegon looked at the leaving woman. Only Aemond spared his sister a glance.

When the roast pig was brought out and Aemond called the Strong nephews “Strong” Haelyx knew it was time.

Before Jacaerys could lunge at Aegon, she rose and brought one of her cutlery to her goblet to attract attention with three taps that echoed through the room. All eyes turned to Haelyx and she reached for her veil and flicked it off with a quick gesture, leaving the black cloth on the table.

Several gasped and Haelyx could see looks of lust, hunger, desire, greed, jealousy and many other emotions around her.

-I'd like to make a statement and then a toast. – A couple of servants approached with various objects on silver trays. – Uncle Viserys.

The man took the scroll and unfolded it, reading it carefully. Alicent tried to read it too, but the woman didn't know a single word of High Valyrian. Haelyx had made sure of that when she drafted the peace treaty that included Helaena's permanent stay in Avalon and her children.

-Fair and detailed. I have taught you well, Haelyx. – She smiled when her uncle put his stamp on the document and Haelyx did the same. The royal seal of Avalon was the symbol of the deathly hallows, the symbol of the Peverell family.

But the flag of Avalon was a red phoenix rising from the fire on a white background, the flag that was in all the castles and towns in his country. The people of Avalon wondered what it meant until Fawkes appeared one day on the Stranger's arm in Haelyx's quarters.

The stranger had told Haelyx that Fawkes wanted to be with her. The bird had flown to the girl before preening her hair like the phoenix always did to Harry when they met again decades after Dumbledore's death. The Stranger said that there were friendships that exceed lives.

People had missed Fawkes and then the phoenix had decided to set himself on fire and rise from his ashes. That made Haelyx explain what the phoenixes were and why she had put them on the banner of Avalon, because they were a Kingdom born from the ashes of an Empire. And the motto of the Peverell house "Death is just the next great adventure", because Queen Haelyx said that she did not believe that everything would end with death and that there must be something beyond, as Fawkes well proved that he died and was reborn

In all honesty, Fawkes was now treated as a sacred animal and the symbol of Avalon in addition to Haelyx herself.

- Thank you, King Viserys Targaryen. – Haelyx took her copy of her document and kept it for her

-What's going on? – Rhaenyra's voice was demanding and somewhat pampered.

Haelyx smiled seductively and managed to make her newest stepmother and her children blush.

-This is a peace treaty, signed by King Viserys Targaryen, with the Peverell royal family, rulers of the Kingdom of Avalon. – Haelyx announced to the full Court as she held up a copy of the document. – And I hereby completely renounce the name Targaryen, Royce and Tully that I have used throughout my life in this Kingdom. To adopt my real name, the one I have used for years and by which I want to be recognized.

Then Haelyx turned to look at her family.

-You have a venereal disease, Aegon, you will die in about eighteen months from that disease. That thing that appears in your private parts is not just a rash. I recommend that you go see even Maestre, he will be able to do little for you, but he will ease your pain. Maybe you shouldn't have shoved your dick into every pussy that was willing for a few coins. – She looked at Aemond. – You are gay, very gay. You've been in love with Lucerys for years and you're completely obsessive about him because you don't want to admit your attraction to him and you justify it by turning it into hate. But it's not hate, you're in love with Lucerys. And it drives you crazy to have feelings against the faith that your mother has instilled in you from your youth. And I know you're gay because your eyes go after squires, not ladies or maidens.

Haelyx took a deep breath as she watched Viserys laugh, but no one else seemed to see it. They all had their attention fixed on her as Haelyx made sure they were tied to her seat with magic. She was saying things that she and Viserys had wanted to say for years.

-Rhaenyra, Daemon, Avalon offers shelter to all your children under the age of fourteen should you wish it. Don't make them fight a war, please. No father deserves to bury his children. The invitation is also extended to you, Lucerys. – Then the young woman took a deep breath. – You are boycotting yourself, my dear cousin. You refuse to interact with the Court, with the nobles you will one day lead as their Queen. You hide from the world on an island while you wait for everything to be handed to you on a silver platter. Loyalty doesn't work like that. The nobles and the people will follow the people they meet. And, unfortunately, they only know Aegon since his memory does not cover more than a decade.

Haelyx raised a glass at the silence and smiled.

-And with this, I toast to freedom. Well, it will be the last time we see each other until the succession war ends. Surely

Haelyx drank the contents of his cup and released the spell as he walked away.

-I'm not gay!

- Have you ever felt attracted to a woman?

-Of course not, the faith of the seven is very strict in its condemnation of lust. – They all looked at Aemond in disbelief at those words. The poor boy was very, very gay.

- You haven't denied Lucerys… - --- Haelyx crooned as she continued advancing between the tables.

Aemond made a strangled sound that no one really understood. Haelyx was already halfway across the room. A few more steps and she would reach the doors. Three white cloaks stood in her way. Haelyx tilted her head.

King Viserys also seemed surprised, but her order had been given by Queen Alicent, considering that Criston Cole was before her. Haelyx tilted her head unnaturally to the side and smiled in a way that was chilling.

A black cloth was thrown at the white cloak guards and Haelyx attacked. Two were quickly unconscious and the third, Criston, she had on the ground. With the fabric of what had been her dress pressing against his throat and her foot against his spine.

-You should be more careful, you almost broke the peace treaty between your country and mine. And I take revenge very seriously. – Haelyx looked at her uncle with her hair somewhat ruffled and giving a sensation of a completely wild and strong beauty. – King Viserys, will it matter if I punish this knight?

-No, come in. After all I hate that man enough. – Everyone looked at the King in shock. – I gave my daughter to that man to take care of her when she was six years old and even so he claimed to be her lover when she was only sixteen. But I couldn't find evidence at the time that he broke an oath and my wife defended him. After all... What kind of father wouldn't be furious to know that the man he entrusted his daughter's care to claimed to take advantage of her and then betrayed her over and over again by telling his secrets to said man's second wife! ?!

They all seemed terrified to see the frail, weak, gentle and kind King Viserys have a fit of well-justified rage. Because the King was right. Many called Rhaenyra a whore, but Ser Criston Cole did so with even greater force. The man who took care of her for ten years, the man who kept the Princess's secrets. That man betrayed his oath by telling these secrets to Queen Alicent and seduced a girl whom he raised as his own daughter.

What kind of father wouldn't be furious?

Haelyx smiled and lifted her foot before stomping her foot down hard. The creak of Criston Cole's column echoed through the room. Haelyx was pretty good at this. The first time she killed a murderer she threw up for a couple of hours, but now she was used to it.

- Will I now be granted free passage out of this Fortress?

-Of course, anyone who stands in your way will be executed.

-Thank you. – Haelyx turned around but then realized one last thing. - Oh by the way. – She took some scrolls from a pocket of her coat and went back to place them in Rhaenyra's hands.

-What is this?

-Proof that Otto Hightower manipulated Masters, Septas and Midwives to cause the death of Queen Aemma Targaryen and later poisoned Prince Baelon Targaryen's milk to ensure the death of the newborn. – The man turned pale as a ghost, opening and closing his mouth. – What is considered a betrayal against the crown and that is paid for with the death of the family that has carried it out. But since the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the traitor Otto Hightower are descendants of royalty, and were conceived because the traitor gave King Viserys aphrodisiacs before sending his daughter to his chambers, the most that will be done is to banish a convent to the Queen and deprive her children of the right to the throne. It may be good to exile them from the Court

King Viserys rose as the man made excuses and the Queen knelt for mercy.

-Guards, take the Queen to her chambers. And the traitor... To a round of torture to make him confess his crimes

-Why do you believe that girl? She may be lying to gain more power!! – Queen Alicent screamed desperately

-I believe her because she doesn't need power in our Kingdom. Is it not so, Queen Haelyx Peverell, conqueror of ancient Valyria, breaker of curses and chains, loving mother, sorcerer queen, first of your name and founder of the Royal house of the reborn Kingdom of Avalon?

Haelyx smiled, blew a kiss to the audience, and was transported to the dragon pit. Haelyx snapped her fingers and every symbol of the seven and green faith was burned away, exposing the murals and Targaryen symbols that Queen Alicent had so carefully hidden. The Red Keep would never again be a Sept for a faith the King of hers did not profess.

That had been fun to do too

-Nightfly, Hedwig, it's time to go. – The two dragons approached. - To home

--------------------

Taking off was Haelyx's favorite part of dragon flying. The feeling of rising higher and higher, breaking through the clouds and looking directly at the star that will reign in the sky.

A roar made Haelyx open her eyes to see Dreamfyre flying close to them. Helaena's children's dragons were on a ship flying the flag of Avalon. But the children were with the princess. They looked ecstatic

Haelyx smiled and led Hedwig towards Avalon, towards her home.

--------------------------

Haelyx lay down on her bed after several hours of flight and closed her eyes without bothering to undress. She woke up when the sun was already high in the sky and she stretched out like a cat.

A house-elf had changed her clothes while she slept into a comfortable nightgown. Haelyx stretched and Dobby appeared next to her.

-Good morning, her Majesty her Queen! – The elf squealed with excitement.

- Good morning, Dobby. Will I arrive in time to have breakfast with Sir Oscar, my princess, my cousin and her children?

-Yes, the Majesty of her the Queen. Everyone slept in late today because they waited up yesterday for you to arrive.

Haleyx laughed thinking about how cute they all were. Her fame and her power didn't bother her like they did Harry. Perhaps she owed herself for all that she had fought and worked to achieve them.

Haelyx smiled and asked Dobby to spread her clothes out on the bed. Unlike other houses, the Peverell House was not limited to one color. The Peverell crest was the symbol of the Deathly Hallows on a black background. But the symbol was multicolored

Haelyx did not like this habit of sticking to only two colors.

-What clothes do you recommend today?

Dobby snapped her fingers and several of her dresses came out of the closet and spread out in a straight line. Apparently the seamstresses had been busy in the Queen's absence from her.

-I think today I will wear the aquamarine blue dress with white vine embroidery.

-It is a great choice, the majesty of her the Queen of her! – Haelyx, like Harry, had given up trying to get Dobby to call her something else.

The dress consisted of a tighter, long-sleeved underdress with aquamarine embroidery and an aquamarine outerdress with a V-neckline and sleeves that were loose from the elbows. The waist was cinched with a gold belt, and on the behind was a large decorative bow, something that had never been seen before. The skirt of the outer dress was longer than the inner one, but with an opening in the front part that gave more mobility.

Dobby then took out the crowns. The one Edmyn and Haelyx had used to crown us and the others we'd found. While another elf was doing Haelyx's hair, she chose the discreet golden one without precious stones. Today would be a hard day

Helyx was sure that she had a lot of work accumulated.

--------------------------

Iolanthe bolted toward her mother with a toothless smile of pure happiness. Haelyx knelt down to her and took her in her arms while she kissed her cheeks.

-"Mom, mom, mom"

– “Hello my life, my little princess. Have you been good while mom was away?"

A few weeks after Iolanthe's birth it had been decided that the official language of the country would be High Valyrian. That was because only a small percentage of the population could actually speak the common language.

– “I have brought people to live with us, my sweet girl. My cousin and her children. I hope you will be friends while you grow up."

-"Friends" – Iolanthe seemed ecstatic to say that word and Haelyx laughed as she took her out of the children's room. Oscar was there at the door wearing a blue knee-length tunic with black pants and boots.

-"Welcome home, my Queen"

-"It's good to be back, Oscar" – Haelyx smiled at the man. - "How are things going?"

-Pretty good, although there are some problems. Arguments over the throne

-You are speaking in the common tongue again. And why would there be arguments about the throne?

-"Her majesty of hers requested a comfortable but imposing chair, and we don't know which artisan design to decide on" – Oscar spoke awkwardly and Haelyx had to interpret several of her words in a creative way to make sense of the phrase.

– “Then I will see the designs and decide. The iron throne is very imposing, but it looks like the most uncomfortable chair in the world. If I'm going to have my butt in the same chair every day for at least six hours I hope it's comfortable.”

-"I don't think a Queen should talk about her butt"

– “I am the Queen, and it is only you and me, I am not going to hold back. Besides, Iolanthe doesn't understand what we're talking about. How are the dragon eggs doing?"

-We know they are alive but they do not open.

-Then they are waiting for the right rider

-----------------------------------

Haelyx was surprised to see Helaena. First of all the princess's hair had been cut close to her earlobes in a flirty and sweet cut. She also wore bangs and had gotten rid of her everlasting braid that pulled her hair back. And secondly, she was wearing a red dress.

Haelyx had never seen the Queen's children wear anything red. They had black things, but few, almost all the clothes they wore were green. Even the children wore the white clothes that Iolanthe also wore.

-I had always wanted to wear red, but mother always chose my clothes when she asked the seamstresses and it was always green. -- – Helaena said it with a smile. – And I hated how they styled my hair, but mother said that this was the best hairstyle for me. Orderly and correct.

-You are beautiful Helaena, but here we speak in High Valyrian. – Haelyx smiled at her cousin- “Hello Jahaerys, Jahaera. Good morning Maelor.”

The two older children greeted her with clumsy High Valyrian. But Maelor was looking at Iolanthe who was in Haelyx's arms.

-Pretty. – He said pulling with admiration and care of one of Iolanthe's red curls. The girl, for her part, seemed delighted with pale hair so similar to her mother's

-"Like mom" - Iolanthe stammered

Haelyx smiled and knew that the two children would get along well.
