Back to Hogwarts

There was total silence for a few minutes. Then, Flitwick broke the silence. "I think," he started, clearing his throat. "Mr. Harry here should stay at Hogwarts for the time being," glancing meaningfully at Dumbledore. Sprout agreed. "He can hardly fit into the non-magical world like this. Harry, there are four places you can go. You can go with me, and stay at the greenhouses, you can go with professor Flitwick, and stay in the library, you can go with professor Mcgonagall, and stay in the classrooms, or you can go with professor Snape, and stay in the dungeons. Where would you like to go?" Harry looked uncertain for a minute, before furrowing his brow and whispering something to himself. Almost everyone jumped back as he held out a hand, and a ball of green light floated over it, slowly manifesting into a small kit of some kind. "Professor Snape, please," he requested, putting the kit in his jacket. Sprout nodded, even as Snape grumbled and nodded. "Alright. By that show, I assume you know magic?" Harry nodded. "I know how to control it, how to send it, how to manipulate it, and how to transform it," he held out his hand again. His eyes started to glow a sharp green, and the inkpot he was pointing at did as well, sending it in a controlled fly into the air before setting it down again. Flitwick looked excited. "Wonderful show young man. We may have to bump you up several grades in our classes. What else do you know, other than magic? Runes and potions and the like?" the spellsmaster leaned forward eagerly as the boy shrugged. "I'm fluent in Ancient Greek, modern Latin, and French. I know a few Persian phrases. I know the basis of Potions, but I've been learning chemistry for longer so I'm stronger in that. I know some things in physics and astronomy, and zoology, but I doubt I know most of the animals from this dimension. I learned how to identify things like Hellhounds and dragons. I know how to fistfight, both conventionally and unconventionally, and I'm proficient with a sword and several types of guns. I can scale buildings and most types of rockfaces by hand, without any support, and I know the history of other dimensions,"
"Wonderful! You'll be with the third ears for most of your classes then, and the second years in potions and Rune studies. You'll be with the first years, people around your age, for Care of Magical Creatures and Divination. If you would like to learn more about this world, I'm sure Severus would be willing to set you up with a few books, right?" the shorter man looked meaningfully at Snape, who only grunted. "Wonderful! Snape will be your head of House. When the school year starts, any matters taken up with students can go to him. Any academic questions can be directed towards me, and full school questions can be directed towards Headmaster Dumbledore,"
