Harry had agreed to talk to his family, but they'd waited a week first. The Weasley family had to bury Fred and Harry wanted to be by their side.
When he reached the address his mother had given him he waited for a while wondering how his life would change now, they were all alive..James, Sirius, Remus and Lily...
He took a deep breath and then knocked on the door, shortly after, his father opened the door for him.
"Harry...come in, we are waiting for you"
He followed him into the living room and saw that they were all there, he sat down in the armchair and there he looked, particularly observing Regulus and Sirius, he knew he owed a lot to Regulus, he had tried and he had "died" a hero.
"okay...so, i know we- made you think we were dead but there's a reason. we..all of us, wanted to protect you and this decision was complicated but necessary"
Harry listened to Lily speak and nodded, not sure what to say or what to think.
"We know it's hard to accept and we're sorry but if you'll let us now we could be in your life, be there for you"
Harry looked at James and was silent for a while, he obviously wanted his family in his life.
He watched everyone carefully and noticed that Remus and Sirius were holding hands, Sirius winked and smiled at him.
"Yes...I want you in my life"
Lily and James smiled and hugged Harry who finally felt at home.

Regulus watched James and Lily embrace Harry and then gave him a slight smile.
He knew he had to wait before James decided to talk to Harry about – well about them.
He left the room and shortly after he felt a hand on his shoulder, he turned and saw Sirius smiling at him
"How are you?"
Regulus shrugged, for years now he had accepted that moment would come he had spent so much time hiding with James, they had talked about Harry and how they would explain to him that they were together and that Lily was engaged to a girl.
"I'm fine, I know it's not the time now"
Sirius smiled at him and ran a hand through his hair
"you'll see that everything will be fine"
Regulus approached Harry who was sitting in the living room while the others prepared lunch
"hey...thanks, for ending this story"
Harry smiled at him and Regulus noticed that that was indeed James's smile.
Harry shrugged
"I had to"
Regulus smiled, he really was James' copy.
James watched Regulus and talking to Harry, next to him Lily touched his hand
"we have to tell him"
James sighed "and does he take it badly?"
Sirius chuckled and shook his head "I think he likes that blond, Malfoy, he'll never take it badly"
Lily rolled her eyes and then leaned over to Mary, giving her a kiss on the lips, that would have been fine.
