Cyrus opens his eyes, vision blurring. Wait, opens his eyes? Had he been sleeping? He must've. A blanket is draped over him, or the two of them-as he had unintentionally been leaning against Luna, who's still quietly reading. The book he'd been reading is on the coffee table, a bookmark sticking out.

"Did you have a good nap?" Stretching, he nods. She hums, flipping the next page. He reads with her, not entirely paying attention but it's anyway. Remus, who's now sitting across from them with his own book, smiled and questioned just how much trouble these two are going to cause once Bai at school. Much like him and his own school friends.

Remus is glad that they're back together. They shouldn't have been separated to begin with, he's going to kill the manipulative old bastard. He's sure going to get a shock once Hester's 'Harry's' new appearance. He can't wait to see Dumbledores face.

Luna appears to be teaching Cyrus how to do a plait. Watching as he'd fail, and she'd help correct it. In several minutes, he was able to produce a plait, a little wonky, though a plait nonetheless. He showed it off, looking proud, she gives a small clap.

Remus watches in amusement when she tries to teach him how to do a fishtail braid. "It's a good idea." He spoke. "It'll keep the hair out of your face when your in class."

"speaking of class, do you know who our defence teacher might be?" Remus gestures to himself. "You? Really?" Cyrus tries not to feel too helpful. "Wow, how bad were your previous teachers huh?" He partly joked.

Cyrus huffs. "Professor Quirre had the dark lord attached to him and tried to kill me throughout and at the end of the year. While Lockhart, was full of himself. Our textbooks weren't even textbooks, they were his 'autobiographies'. Stories that he stole by the way." He scrunched up his face in annoyance.

"And-and there was that time I had broken my arm after I caught the snitch in a match. He said that I didn't need to go to Madam Pomfrey, that he can do it himself." He can't help but rant. "Except he's an incompetent fool, so he ended up removing my bones instead." Remus pales a little, how on earth was this Lockhart even hired? Leave it up to Dumbledore of course.

"Spent the night in the infirmary regrowing my bones." He says bitterly. "Not to mention whenever I had detention with him, all he'd do is make me answer his fan mail, fan mail he didn't deserve by the way. At least we'll be getting a competent teacher."

"Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do then." The two nod. Luna, like everyone else, had unfortunately been taught by him. No one learned anything that year. She took it upon herself to teach herself, since he clearly wasn't going to. Cyrus had done the same thing, even if his lack of concentration back then made it hard, along with Ron and Hermione always watching him.

"Mr Lupin can I ask you something?"

"Cyrus, you don't have to call me Mr Lupin, you can just call me Remus. Or my friends liked to call me Moony." Cyrus bit his lip, hesitating, "if I'm not the son of Lily and James Potter, how did I end up at Godfics Hollow?" Luna marked her book and put it down, also interested and wanting.

"Yes, I had feeling you'd ask that question sooner or later. I want you two to now they weren't bad people. They didn't kidnap you. Both of your parents thought it was unsafe, so the Lovegoods and Potters started living together. They wanted to go somewhere else, Dumbledore had managed to manipulate them, somehow. They thought you two were the cutest kids." He smiles softly, eyes looking not quite there, lost in the memories.

Cyrus frowns, Luna picks her book back up. "Hey, cheer up children, everything will workout eventually." </p

"How do you know?"

"You just gotta take a leap of faith." Their brows furrow. Faces scrunched slightly. Cyrus rests his head on Luna's shoulder, trying not to think about anything.

“Where was Luna then? You said that Sirius had come as soon as possible? Then Hagrid took me. What about mum and dad? Where were they? What about the Potters? Did they not want their own children? By the way you talk about them, it sounded like it.” Cyrus was starting to panic. Remus was about to go and calm him down, when Luna beat him to it.

She had both arms around him, whispering something into his ear.

“I don’t have answers to many of those questions as I wasn’t there. But we will get your answers. As for the Potters having children. They did, her name is Charlie Potter. She was supposed to be born on July 31st, but ended up being a month early, her birthday on July 1st.” He answers.

“Well, where is she then?” Cyrus asks hurriedly. “That’s what we’re looking for. I have a feeling that she goes by a different name, hopefully, we’ll find her before school starts.”

Cyrus leans his head against Lina’s shoulder again, a wide range of emotions from anger to sorrow through him.

“Do you think Dumbledore knew Voldemort would be there?" He whispers, horrified.

"From day one he’s been treating me like the Gryffindor golden boy with some sort of saviour complex." His head was spinning.  Dumbledore was a whole lot worse than what they thought.

"Lily Potter isn't my mother, So how did I end up surviving?" He ran a hand through his hair.

"It could have had something to do with an unbreakable vow." Luna theorises. "What's an unbreakable vow?"

"It's a binding magical contract, if it's broken, it would result in death to whoever had broken it."

Remus had been quiet the whole time, the thinking and horror of it all had started to give him a minor headache. He closed his eyes, trying to soothe it. A vision of twin toddlers in the cot crying had made him open his eyes immediately.

Getting up, he sat in the middle of the two, wrapping his arms around the,, pulling them close. "Everything's going to be fine." He promisises, also needing to reassure himself.
