The Wedding of Lucius and Narcissa
Sirius soon found his Mother talking to another Women who had a Girl next to her, Greda Nott who he had partnered with couple of times in Portions class. She was a Slytherin in his year though he hadnt talked much to her
“Ah there you are” his mother said “this is Alrinah Nott and ofcourse you know Greda” she finished
Sirius nodded “Nice to meet you Mrs Nott and you too Greda” he replied
“Such a Gentleman you are” Mrs Nott said smiling at the boy.
“Nice meeting you too Sirius” Greda said blushing a bit.
Sirius didn’t know why was blushing nor did he care.
“I will take my leave Madam Black” Mrs Nott said nodding and leaving with her daughter.
“Your father wants to enter a marriage contract with the Nott family” said Walburga
“WHHHAT” Sirius yelled
“Quit Yelling Sirius, you are a Black, Blacks don’t yell” She said disapproving of her son’s behavior.
“But you never told me, I don’t want to enter a bloody contract Marriage” Sirius continued
“You don’t need love, you are soon going to the head of House black so you are going to marry the girl we arrange no questions asked ,Go and sit next to Regulus, we will talk about this later” she said
Sirius just nodded and just left his mother to go and sit with his brother
“Severus said Mother wanted to speak to you, what did she want” Regulus asked as he sat down next to him.
“She wants me to marry that Greda Nott” he grumbled
“She um is nice” Regulus offerred.
“Well I don’t care I don’t want a fucking contract” Sirius said darkly.
Regulus just smirked and said nothing
Soon the marriage function started
His Uncle Alphard was the one who was going to officiate the wedding.
Lucius was already at the alter waiting for Narcissa
“looking exactly the git he was who got punched by Sirius in the Department of Ministry” Sirius thought .
Then there was a pauce as Cygnus Black walked Narciss down the aisle.
Soon they reached the alter and Cygnus let Narcissa hand as she walked towards Lucius
Rudolphus acted as Best Man and Andromeda was maid of honour
“Welcome to everyone present here to present this holy matrimony of Lucius Abraxus Malfoy and Narcissa Irma Black” Alphard said as everyone remained silent
“Do you Lucius Abraxus Malfoy accept Narcissa Irma Black as your dutifully and lawfull wedded wife” he asked Lucius
“I do” Lucius Answered
“Do you Narcissa Irma Black accept Lucius Abraxus Malfoy as your dutiful and lawful wedded husband” he asked Narcissa
“I do” Narcissa Answered
Then Alphard took his wand out and performed the binding Spell
“I now announce you as Husband and Wife” he announced
They didn’t Kiss, ofocurse not. Pure blood families don’t do Public display of Affection as it was deemed weak. It was a wedding out of responsibility than out of Love afterall.
Soon Sirus and Regulus followed his Parents in wishing the Newly weds.
“Congrats Lucius and Narcissa” Orion said as head of house and handed them a present
“Thank you Uncle Orion and Aunt Walburga” she answered and Lucius gave a firm handshake to Orion and then to Sirius.
Sirius notted that he didn’t give a handhshake to Regulus
Another one of the Stupid pureblood rules which stated that only the Head and Heir should be given handshake and not to the Spare whicb Regulus was.
“Well we will be taking our leave then” Orion said
“Yes uncle thank you for coming, we will see you at the Christmas party” Narcissa said
Orion nodded but Sirius groaned. He hated those Parties to the core filled with stupid pureblood family in the Black Manor which Orion as head of house black organized every christmas
After saying their goodbyes to everyone Orion and Walburga held Sirus and Regulus hand and apparated back to grimmauld place.
