Summary
Harry returns to Eighth Year after a turbulent summer dating Ginny, expecting Hogwarts to make everything go back to normal. Tune into snippets of conversation as Harry learns that no matter what you say, silence always speaks louder than words.
Note
a dialogue-only fic that is serving entirely as therapy for me, and hopefully some entertainment for you. I didn't feel like writing a traditional fic (because I have so many drafted lol it felt unfair) so this format gave me the excuse to write and post something about drarry, because i've missed them. I have no idea how long this will be, but will keep posting as I write conversations. hope you enjoy!

“Oh, hey Harry.”
“Hello Harry!”
“Oh. Hello Luna.”
“Did you need something? Luna and I were just about to buy from the trolley.”
“No…just thought I’d see you before the train left. Ron and Hermione are waiting for me in another compartment.”
“Well, you see me!”
“Yes, I do.”
“Right.”
“Maybe—I thought we could be—I don’t know—alone? For a minute?”
“Oh. Well, maybe when we get to Hogwarts, if you don’t mind.”
“Right. Of course. Sure.”
“Harry.
“I know.”
“You can’t—”
“I know.”
“It’s difficult. That’s all.”
“I know, I’ve been—difficult.”
“I know you’re trying…I just…”
“You don’t have to explain. I get it. I’ll leave you to it, then.”
“I’ll see you at Hogwarts, Harry.”
“Right. See you then. Good bye.”
