First chapter isn’t from Harry’s perspective. Its the stories of a bunch of people being brutally murdered by Death Eaters or Voldemort, raped, set up for slavery, and captured. This can be through the newspaper or just like in general. Like, Order vs. Armies, people on the run being killed, etc.
Also stories on how Slytherins are being attacked because they are naturally associated with Voldemort.

Harry, Draco and Hermione have been practicing how to duel. They’ve also been practicing different Dark Arts. Hermione is naturally amazing at the Dark Arts while Draco is surprisingly terrible at it. Hermione says it's because unicorn cores are the hardest to taint. Dragon is the best (her wand) and phoenix are kinda meh
The Dragon is now 6 ft food to shoulder, 30 ft nose to tail tip with a 75ft wingspan. Draco and Harry have been figuring out how to fly on it (Hermione says it's stupid and dangerous)
The Slytherins are well-situated in their homes. Some of the less neutral parents join the Order of the Phoenix
Dumbledore shows up and takes Harry to visit Slughorn. Harry realises what’s going on instantly and allows the plan to work. He later asks Dumbledore about it. Dumbledore says that Slughorn possesses something he needs but refuses to say what. He also says that he’ll be giving Harry lessons, but also refuses to tell him on what. Harry tells him that he wants Draco and Hermione with him because he’s learned he’s better when he has their opinions and Dumbledore agrees to allow this.
When Harry returns, all of them have to do their questions (figure out if they’re really their loved one or not).
OWLS come
Harry goes to more important Order meetings. Due to Snape, they know that Voldemort is planning on taking some of the more important wizarding cities and areas to both demoralize and gain power. Everyone knows that Voldemort will eventually take Diagon Alley because it holds Gringotts, the main wizard bank but no one knows precisely when
To combat the fact that they know soon the wizarding world won’t have any access to money, Harry and other people in the Order removes their gigantic fortunes (including Draco, who has enough money to fill several mansions) and puts it in several purses with an enlargement spell on the inside (like what Hermione did with the purse).
Right when all the kids get their letters (like the day after when Diagon Alley is the busiest) Voldemort attacks. The Order fights against him and loses. Harry, Draco and Hermione, along with some other Club people fight in the attack and manage to save people but see a lot of people die.
The Club has been nicknamed by the media (The unbiased and biased towards Harry) as the Chosen Saviors because Harry’s club’s main thing has been to move people to safe houses outside of major cities and hiding them where nobody can find them. Harry is known as the Chosen Leader.
The other part of the media calls him the Chosen Dark One to villianfy him, and by association, all other Slytherins.
Harry and his friends discuss how hating on them is making it more difficult for refugees to trust them and how they need to mend the house/race wars with Gryffindor.
Drarry sexy time
The Weasley’s talk about how they’re mad at Ron because he went missing for a couple of hours and then returned with the excuse that he was practicing flying.
They go to Hogwarts.
Slughorn tries to collect Harry and have him hang out in the cabin. Harry studies who else shows up but doesn’t bother trying to suck up; it's not his strong point. It is, however, his boyfriends so he talks to Draco about it later.
Teacher students schedule workouts
Slytherins are getting picked on by the Gryffindors. Harry tells them to use magic to protect themselves but try not to cast back. (Unless they can do it like a Slytherin and have it never be linked back to them Draco adds, which has Harry glaring at him and then begrudging agreeing with [but only in retaliation])
Nonverbal spells class in which everyone in the Club already knows how to do- so pretty much everyone but the Gryffindors. This earns jealous jeering from the Gryffindors and when Snape breaks it up, he does it in a way that makes the Gryffindors think favoritism.
Slytherins Liquid Luck, which Hermione wins and Draco comes second in (he gets disgruntled about that)
Dumbledore’s first lesson. They learn about Riddle’s family. Harry recognizes the house as the one he escaped out of back in fourth year.
Quidditch Tryouts. Make Quidditch out to be one of the things Harry does to relax (maybe a conversation with one of his friends or something). Also include heckling by Gryffindors and/or actual spells to fuck them up.
They continue with the Club, practicing more advanced magic. Now and then Harry has other people explain how to do certain things, like potions and stuff.
The Club gets even bigger( No Gryffindors) and Harry has to divide the groups into separate categories (new and advanced) and then create separate groups among those groups and appoint leaders to come to him for help. He’s basically a headmaster running a school where every now and then he’ll do group lessons when he thinks it's really important.
Harry and Draco talk through plans. Draco says that they need more spies closer to Voldemort and Harry doesn’t like the idea. However, Draco says that they can ask house-elves and set up snakes around stuff around the area. Harry says that they’ll need to know where Voldemort is for that- and then Draco is like “idiot” and summons Dobby.
He asks Dobby if Dobby is still able to respond to him and Dobby says yes. Draco presents him with a sock and then asks Dobby to go back and be his spy. Dobby is happy to give Draco information and then promptly leaves
Harry is like “you’re brilliant” and Draco is like “I know”
Heavy making out session that Blaise tries to interrupt and fails miserably
A flock of Death Eaters all attempt to break into Hogwarts on Halloween night. They draw the Order to protect the kids which allow for an opening to appear in a very major Magical store that ships out most of the floo powder.
The Magical World has fallen into a depression. They no longer have access to their money, floo powder and most are too terrified to leave their homes. Harry gets a sudden influx of help calls. He has a minor breakdown that Draco helps him through and then begins helping people.
Harry sends out small bags of money to those in a lot of need and takes the people in the most need out of dangerous situations.
Many of the Gryffindors (and other houses but we’re concentrating on Gryffindors) start to worry about money and whether their families will be able to get enough food. Families are getting laid During which Blaise gets ganged up on by a bunch of Gryffindors and Harry nearly breaks his own rule until Blaise tells him not to be an idiot.
Slytherins start walking around in groups. They’ve long since accepted Hermione but even she begins to get suspicious looks when she walks into the Slytherin dorm room. Harry desperately asks Hermione what the Gryffindors want but Hermione says that they’re just scared and trying to do things that might help.
Hogsmeade. Drarry date. (Have lots of sweetness) Harry leaves to grab butterbeer for himself and Draco while Draco waits for him at the shrieking shack and returns to find eight knocked out Gryffindors and a wandless Draco trembling on the ground. Harry drops the butterbeers and looks over Draco to find a bunch of non-spell wounds (bruises, cuts, etc,) and some remnants of hexes (he also thinks that there might be some that he can’t see or that wear off, like the stinging hex). Harry does medical spells the best he can until Draco can stand up and lean on him and brings Draco to Madam Pomfrey.
As Madam Pomfrey patches Draco up, Harry goes on a angry rant about how stupid Gryffindors are and how the fuck is he going to fix people’s stupid beliefs. Draco tells him that he managed to fix his stupid beliefs on Muggleborns and that Harry can do it (only he’s more insulting)
Harry marches right into the Gryffindor Tower and asks them what they’re doing for the war effort. A bunch of Gryffindors list a bunch of nonsense and Harry contracts that with what the Slytherins have done. The Slytherins' sacrifices and ways they’re working seem bigger. Harry tells them to remember that the next time they decide cursing a Slytherin will solve all their fucking problems.
The Slytherin attacks don’t stop, but they slow.
Another Dumbledore lesson. Learn about how Riddle found out he was a wizard.
Quidditch. The first game is Gryffindor vs. Slytherin that is incredibly tense. A Gryffindor gets hurt in a legal play, but it's enough to have the Gryffindors turning harsher on the Slytherins again.
Harry teaches everyone to throw off the imperius curse. Draco suddenly has an a-ha! moment and says that they could learn how to throw off the Cruatius Curse. Harry is like “what” and Draco explains that the Cruatius Curse has no physical effects- it's all mental. So like Occlumency blocking mind reading, you might be able to block the Cruatius Curse. Harry is like “but I don’t know how to occlude” and Draco says “but I do idiot”
Harry does not like the idea of Draco learning how to block it but Draco doesn’t give him a choice. He goes to Snape and tells him his idea. Snape and Draco begin to work on it (by which, Snape casts Cruatius Curse on Draco and Draco figures out what mental block lessens the pain)
Goyle comes out as Trans. She wants to be called Greta
Owls start getting blasted out of the sky and several major owl trainers go missing. Harry doesn’t send Hegwig out almost ever. Communication to people without bracelets gets harder and everyone is worried for the safety of their owls. Owls carrying the Daily Prophet or other newspapers especially get hard and Pansy gets nervous. Her mom’s company has been mostly untouched (since everyone wants the news) but now her mom’s having to lay people off.
Christmas. Harry x Draco moments.
Harry goes to the Grangers house for Christmas and they go skiing together. Harry tries out a black for the first time with Draco and enjoys himself. Draco does not.
Fill Christmas with stories of people being separated from their families, murdered etc. (Real uplifting stuff)
Scrimgeour reaches out to Harry. Harry and Scrimgeour have a conversation where Harry basically says that the Ministry needs to step it up because right now, only the Order and his Club are making much of a difference and the people don’t trust the Ministry. He says that he can’t back the Ministry because people will see him as weaker for doing it. But, Harry says that the Ministry could back him, which might earn support. Scrimgeour says he’ll think about it.
They go back to hogwarts. There’s a New Years Eve party in the Slytherin room.
The next Dumbledore memory. Tom Riddle mentions Horcruxes and Harry instantly pounces on that. Dumbledore says to keep it under wraps, so Harry only tells Draco and Hermione.
Draco manages to force the Cruciatus Curse off of himself several times in a row.
Apparition lessons.
Anti-Slytherin marks everywhere. Harry tells them not to attack back. He forgets about his friends in Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw that antagonize the Gryffindors by putting up anti-Gryffindor stuff. The Slytherin take the fall for it and tension increases
Harry and Draco compose a plan to get the memory from Slughorn. Harry suggests buttering him up, but Draco tells him that’ll take too long, especially as Harry’s been avoiding him too long. Draco tells Harry to get him drunk and guilt-trip him. Harry keeps trying to figure out the right time to do that.
Terry and Hermione start dating.
On Lily’s birthday, Harry is easily able to act glum. He purposely does worse in potions and lashes out at Draco when Draco tries to help (acted) but Draco doesn’t take any kind of offense. Slughorn calls Harry to stay after class and asks what’s going on. Harry breaks down (easier than he thought it would be) and says it's Lily’s birthday (January 30th). Slughorn suddenly gets depressed and asks Harry what he can do.
Harry explains that he never really knew Lily and most people that talk to him talk about his dad. He asks Slughorn if he was willing to tell stories about Lily.
Slughorn is more than happy too. He tells Harry to come by after and Harry does so. Slughorn pours out some drinks and goes on to talk about Lily. Harry tells him that Lily died to protect him and that’s why he’s still alive. He tells Slughorn that Voldemort believes he is the Chosen One and is seeking to destroy him. He says that if he’s going to preserve Lily’s memory, Slughorn needs to give him his.
Slughorn gives him the memory
Harry goes straight to Draco and Hermione. They go to Dumbledore and watch the memory. They learn about Horcruxes and learn that Dumbledore is hunting them
Dumbledore also shows off that Voldemort wanted to teach at Hogwarts, the business with the cup. Hermione connects the dots and asks faintly if Voldemort made Horcruxes out of all the Founders stuff. Dumbledore says that he missed Godric Gryffindor’s sword. Harry asks how many he made and Dumbledore says that he believes he made six (the snake, the cup, the necklace, the diadem, the book, and the ring.) Dumbledore says that two are destroyed and he is in the process of locating another one.
Draco freaks out a bit about being possessed by a horcrux.
Harry asks if they can go with Dumbledore to get the next Horcrux. Dumbledore says that he doesn’t believe he can take all three of them. Draco glares at him, but Dumbledore holds firm and Harry agrees to be the only one to go
Draco teaches the Crucio Curse mind block to the Club.
They run into a bunch of Gryffindors gathered outside of Dumbledore’s office while walking around. The Gryffindors don’t curse at them or glower, which Harry thinks is incredibly weird.
Valentine’s Day Hogsmeade trip. Harry is remarkably clingy (because of the attack last trip) which Draco makes fun of him for. Drarry sweetness, with sweet presents and sex at the end of the trip.
Voldemort destroys Harry’s family house to show off how not even Harry can stop him. This makes Harry very sad. However, it has a large impact on the already destroyed outside world who viewed that structure as a monument of hope.
The Club tries to figure out a way to tell the world to keep going but with communication controlled by Voldemort it's hard to come up with a way.
Hermione/Terry/Smith/Luna/Ginny (basically anyone other than Draco or Harry) says that they need to set up a channel with a password that they can secretly spread around and get messages to people. They need connected light-hearted people to run it.
Harry sends a message via bracelets to Fred and George. Fred and George are happy to set it up- calling it (cool Weasley name) and they spread it to the club and the club’s families. Slowly, Harry begins seeing it outside the club and Fred and George happily report that their numbers are climbing quickly and beyond what Harry and his gang told, which means it's being spread.
April. There’s a big battle between the Order and Death Eaters and several parents of the Gryffindors die, including a main instigator of Slytherin hatred, __Seamus?__. They attack the Slytherin at breakfast which results in a very deadly much bloodier duel than the usual ones.
Harry casts a very strong portego between the two groups (it's his best spell) and rants off Slytherin parents that fought with the Order and died.
He tells the Gryffindors that they’re not the only ones allowed to grieve. He tells them to fuck off and go back to their tables.
The Gryffindors ignore him but the spells they cast can’t get through the shield. They go back to their table and glower.
The Slytherin attacks get more frequent and more deadly. They never attack Harry (because he’s the Chosen Leader) but Draco ends up in the hospital wing more than once, along with most other people in the house.
Harry complains to Dumbledore. Dumbledore asks Harry what he would have him do and Harry is like “anything! My friends are getting attacked and you are sitting back and watching!”
Dumbledore has an assembly where he talks about unity. The attacks slow again, but Harry knows that it won’t last.
May rolls around and people prepare for their exams.
Dumbledore tells Harry several guesses as to where the Horcrux is but confirms that he is still unsure. He names the places funny names that don’t relate to the Horcrux
One day during early June, when Draco and Harry are having a lazy afternoon outside and just cuddling in the grass, Dobby appears to give a report. Dobby says that he located the dungeon where a bunch of Gryffindors are being kept, including Weasley and a few others that haven’t been involved in the wars and have been acting weird.
Harry and Draco realize that the others are probably Death Eaters in disguise and run up to Dumbledore’s office just in time to watch “Ron” kill him. Dumbledore sees Harry just in time and manages to say the name of one of the Horcrux places before he dies using the funny names he gave them. (His last words are something like “Harry. Dinglehopper.”)
Draco and Harry start to duel the Gryffindors. Harry calls for help using his bracelet and the Club comes just in time. The Club takes out the Gryffindors and ties them up, gets them to the hospital wing and is like “what so we do, Chosen Leader?”
Harry is like “we need to get those Gryffindors out now before they realize they know.” He questions Dobby further and says that he’ll take five people with him to get out the Gryffindors. He decides on Draco, Hermione, Blaise, Pansy and Terry. They also bring the Dragon, who is now 9ft tall, 45ft nose to tail, with a wingspan of 112.5 The five of them go down to Malfoy Manor (Dobby apparates them through the wards) and manage to get to the hostages.
The Death Eaters realise they’re there and come to take the hostages. Draco, Harry and Hermione, having the most dueling and Dark Arts practice, begin to duel while Terry, Blaise, and Pansy work to get the hostages out quickly. They give them the Luck Potion so that they’ll have an easier time of it.
The Death Eaters trap Draco under the Cruciatus Curse and believe him subdued. However, when they get too cocky, Draco blasts them and manages to knock out two. Harry uses that to take out a couple others and Hermione knocks out three herself.
More Death Eaters come and the Dragon blows fire on all of them. She hurts her wing, but manages to get Harry, Draco, and Hermione onto her back and fly away. They get just outside the wards and apparate away with the Dragon
They escape with the Hostages.
Harry and Draco instantly turn to work on the Dragon’s wing. Charlie shows up and helps them. (The Order has arrived at Hogwarts because Dumbledore died.
They have a funeral for Dumbledore.
Pansy makes sure it makes the news that Slytherins saved Gryffindors (through Fred and George) and the Gryffindors attack on Slytherins comes to a stop.
The Club continues training. By this point, everyone in the school has joined.
They need to decide what to do for Horcruxes and next year. Harry gets his six members together; Luna, Terry, Hermione, Draco, Smith and himself, and discusses Horcruxes. He says that he’s going to have to go away.
Smith says he can’t. Harry needs to lead the Club, the Order, and make Hogwarts their base. He needs to work on inspiring people to keep going and saving. Vanishing wouldn’t help anyone.
Draco says that the easy solution to this is to build Hogwarts as their base for war. Keep the Horcruxes between them, work with the leader of the Order- whoever the fuck that is now- and get ready to take down Voldemort. Meanwhile, the six of them will work secretly together to find the Horcruxes.
At the end of June, Harry doesn’t leave Hogwarts but is ready to prepare it.
