The Prophecy
Will woke me up early to eat breakfast. "I'm not hungry." I said.
"Nico… eat." He said with a warning voice. I shook my head and he sighed. "I guess you wont be getting kisses from me anymore."
Two and play this game. "Fine, i think i saw that hot guy that hit on me last year around here." I said. His expression dropped to mad.
"No. Only I can Kiss you." He said. He grabbed me by my torso and pulled me close. I laughed and kissed him. He kissed back and I ate a slice of french toast for him. He smiled satisfied and he still held me.
"Keep it PG Nico!" Thalia yelled from the Gryffindor table. I flipped her off and there were laughs.
We then all walked together to class the next day and sat down in the corner we arrived about ten minutes early, but Reyna insisted on getting here early. “What class is this?” asked Thalia.
“Divination, it looks different.” Will said.
“Yeah, the teacher is a centaur, um Firenze was his name, I think.” I replied.
“A centaur?” asked Reyna. “At this school?”
Will and I nodded. “There’s all kinds of monsters in the forests, giant spiders, giants, unicorns, werewolves, hippogriffs, deers, foxes.” I listed off.
“Deer, foxes, amd unicorns aren’t neccecarly monsters. ”
“I know but I was nameing off the supernautrual creatures.”
“Like the TV show?” Thalia asked.
“Whats a tv show?” I asked. “They only had timed broadcasts in the Nineteen twenteys.”
Thalia had her mouth agape then smirked. “Well with M’lady we can use our cellphones considering no monster is going to mess with a goddess.”
I stuck my tounge out at her and flipped her off. Will smacked my hand down and I put a hand to my heart. “How dare you betrey me like that. Hmph.” I pouted crossing my arms, I stood up and piciked up my bag. ”Good day, and good night.” I slowly walked away and I felt arms grab around my waist. Will put his head into the crook of my neck. He kissed my neck and I whined. “I hate you William.”
He laughed into my neck. “I love you too.” he dragged me back to the table and pulled me to sit on his lap. “Keep it PG kids,” Thalia said.
I flipped her off again. “I’m older than you.”
“Yeah right.”
”I’m about Eighty-Eight years old.”
“Geez Will, you sure do like older men,” Reyna said.
“I could say the same about your women,” I replied.
Thalia pouted. “I am fifteen,” she said.
I snorted. “Do the math, physically yes but chronologically you’re twenty three.”
We all had a second of silence before we all looked at each other and burst out laughing. I kissed Will on the cheek and he kissed mine back. I was happy, for one of the first times in a while I was happy with a group of friends.
The teacher walked in and we quieted down. I tried to get off Will’s lap but he wouldn’t let me so I just stayed. I mean, I was quite comfortable. “Hello children, today we are going to lay on the ground and look up at the sky studying the stars,” he said, as he said that the classroom changed into a lawn. I grabbed Will’s hand and dragged him to the grass. We laid on the grass together, my head was on his chest and he had his arm wrapped around me and another under his head. I don’t know how this could get any better.
We all laid in silence, well the teacher was explaining the stars and stuff to us but I was too much in my own universe to care. All was fine until some kid came running in through the door. “Professor Treylwany is about to give another Prophecy.”
We groned while the Mortals looked frightened. “Come on, looks like we got another world to save.” Said Thalia.
“You don’t know that.”
“Seriously, these kids are scared out of their wits. That obviously means they don’t get prophecies often, also meaning we’ve been here for a day and a prophecy is already here.”
We left the room and walked to where ever the professor is.
Her eyes glassed over and she opened her mouth as I approached. “You must find the weapon that shall defeat the dark lord, the one of the harvest shall wield the sword. The one you trust the most will perish in the end, the one you hate the most shall be your friend and the one with the name you cherish shall perish in the end.” her voice rasped. She then coughed a couple times and looked at us.
“I’m sorry deary did you say something?”
“I um, no ma’am. I have to go.” I managed to say before walking out. Who’s going to die? Who’s my friend? Where is the Sword? What Sword? Who's the one of Harvest? I had millions of questions swirling around my ADHD head. Most importantly, Is Will going to die?
“Hey,” a cheery voice said coming up to me. I looked up and almost stumbled backward if it wasn’t for Will grabbing me. “Are you okay?” she asked.
I took a deep breath. “Yeah, I- I’m fine. It’s just- I mean- I need-” I stuttered and then panicked, I shadow traveled to the dorm room and sat down on the bed. The one with the name you cherish shall perish in the end.
