Chapter 1
Twilight Sparkle woke up on a bed. She was covered in a blanket and she was lying down on the sheets. She sat up and stretched, flapping her wings. She looked at her surroundings. The room she was in looked like an office. The walls were gray and had stains, a stack of boxes stood in one corner, and a desk sat on one side of the room. Not much furniture except for the bed Twilight was in. She realized she was alone. Spike was missing. "Spike, where are you?" she called, her voice echoing around the room. Panic crept into her bones as she looked around but she forced herself to calm down. First things first, find a way out then look for Spike.
She found the door and turned the knob. Thankfully, the door opened. Twilight stepped out of the room and found herself in a hallway. The hallway was long and deserted. The tiles were faded and water dripped from the pipes on the walls. A lamp hung from the ceiling. Twilight had no idea where she was. She needed to find Spike and leave. She began walking along the halls, calling her friend's name.
"Spike? Spike, where are you?" she called. Her voice echoed around the place she woke up in. What is this place?, she thought. She bumped into someone and apologized. "Sorry," she said.
"That's ok," the figure replied. Twilight realized that the person in front of her was a sponge with blue eyes. He was wearing a white shirt and tie, brown pants, and black shoes. "I'm SpongeBob SquarePants."
"Twilight Sparkle."
The two looked around the facility. "So, you woke up here?" asked SpongeBob.
"Yeah, I did," replied Twilight.
"We should stick together and find a way out," said SpongeBob. He heard voices calling his and Twilight's names. He turned to see a pink starfish and a little dragon with purple scales and a green underbelly. "Patrick!" he cried, running towards the starfish and giving him a hug. Twilight hugged the little dragon. "Spike, you're alright!" she said.
"This is my best friend, Patrick," said SpongeBob.
"Hi," replied Patrick.
"Let's get going," said Twilight. The new friends walked along the hall, beginning their adventure.
