After enduring a challenging day, Barry experiences an emotional breakdown but finds solace in working on Gideon at S.T.A.R. Labs until he eventually collapses from exhaustion. Leonard discovers him and, relieved by Barry's survival, shares a heartfelt moment with him. Leonard then invites Barry to join the Rogues, a proposal Barry enthusiastically accepts. This pivotal moment inspires Barry to return to academia and pursue his doctorate, ultimately achieving his goal after leaving the CCPD.
