Summary
I read a prompt which touched on how Sirius Black was a wonderful Godfather but he was a terrible father. This is a story which follows the adventures of Lilith Lyra George-Black, the blood adopted daughter of Sirius black as she struggles through school and an adoptive father who doesn't seem to care about her while trying to survive a madman who is after her god-sibling.

The dreaded vision

'Somethings wrong' is the only thing going through my mind as I run down the stairs to the common room. I feel unsteady on my feet as I feel my legs tremble. I'm confused. I'm terrified. I don't know what is wrong, but I'm certain something is terribly wrong.

I can feel it in my core.

That realization brought me to an abrupt stop. 'You dumb bitch.' I berate myself. I sit down in the middle of the corridor trying to calm myself.

A few deep breaths later, when I open my eyes I can see different coloured bonds rising from myself and into the dark. I try to sort through the bonds to figure out the bond from which the panic and terror was coming from.

The green bond was pulsing rhythmically and was growing brighter and brighter with each passing second. Harry. It was Harry. I race through the stairs to reach the common room and my brother in all but blood.
I run into George who catches me before I hit the ground. "Calm down lily-flower, what is wrong?" he asks.

"I don't know. Something is wrong with Harry." I try to run up the boys dorm stairs. But George tightens his grip on me.

I hear Ron shouting for somebody to call for Professor McGonagall and Percy running out the common room to do so. Prof McGonagall hurries behind Percy and rushes into the 5th year boy's dormitory.

I can feel George's heart thumping rapidly through my jumper. Fred walks up to us and he's shaking. George gathers Fred and I into his arms and I cling onto Fred's arms waiting for McGonagall to come down to the common room.

Professor McGonagall half carries Harry through the common room and leads him out. Hermione and Ron rush to follow them. McGonagall stops near the threshold of the Gryffindor common room and orders everybody to their rooms and disappears into the corridor with the Golden Trio.

George drags Fred and I to the couch and we cuddle together trying to calm each other. Being confused and afraid will not help anyone. But we knew we were all wondering about what was wrong.

15 minutes later, even though it did feel like an eternity, a Ravenclaw prefect comes up to us and tells us that we were wanted in the Headmaster 's chamber. He looked extremely confused too.

Percy runs out of the common room without looking back. Fred, George and I follow him through the damp and dark corridors. Hogwarts feels huge and dangerous as if she senses the terror and confusion and is readying herself for conflict.

We ran up the stairs as the Gargoyle was nowhere to be seen. We ran through the door without knocking. Percy attempts to ask Professor McGonagall what was happening, but she silences him with a look.

Harry looks miserable and is crying with both Ron and Hermione looking scared and hanging on to him. It seems like the only thing that is holding him together is the right hold they both have on him.

Dumbledore avoids looking at Harry as he talks to the portrait of Phineas Nigellus Black. He then turns to us and tells us to floo over to Grimmauld Place, and that everything will be explained there. He confirms that Arthur was fine now and Molly will let us know what happened to him.

We are still confused as we ready ourselves to floo over to No. 12. Dumbledore hurries us as there was only so much longer that McGonagall could delay Umbridge. Harry, Ron and Hermione floo over first, Percy follows them and then Fred and George gather me up and the three of us floo over to No. 12 together.
