Nothing is ever simple for anyone close to our family, especially us. We are in our fourth year, and nearly every year since we began, Harry and I almost die from Albus Dumbledore’s meddling. And this year, the boys are facing alone instead of the six of us going against Dumbledore’s latest fuck up together as we’ve done in previous years. While physically, we girls are trapped in comas as Ra himself drags our souls to the other side of the world and traps us in other people’s bodies. Each being the reincarnation of a previous holder of a millennium item, I’m now the so-called Hikari to the last wielder of the millennium puzzle before the shadow realm was sealed off. The now infamous nameless pharaoh. Ryou is now the Hikari of my lost brother. He was once the notorious King of Thieves and now looks like a somewhat more vicious male version of her, the last wielder of the millennium ring. Malik is bound to another member of the pharaoh’s court and a wielder of another millennium item; his name is Marik, and he appears mentally unstable.
We use our magic to meet up and review recent happenings without our other halves finding out. However, it hurts us sincerely to keep them in the dark about the truth. Sometimes though, it's a good thing none of them know the truth of what we Hikari’s can do as we pull pranks on deserving idiots that can’t take a hint or two-faced bitches refuse to back the fuck off. That and the fact we Hikari also have my grandfather to watch our backs, thanks to Bastet. Mal’s currently in Egypt with the Ishmals, as there isn’t any reason for them to be in Domino yet. The one thing we hate about the whole situation, other than the obvious. Is that none of them remember their past lives or caused their current problem involving the millennium items. We also have more potential friends in Joey, Tristan, the Kaiba brothers, and perhaps more to come if my instincts are correct.

It’s been three years now since our physical bodies fell into comas. At the same time, our souls were made into Hikari's for three Yami's, all of them being previous holders of Millennium items during the reign before Nameless Pharaoh’s ascension. And since then, we’ve met many great people; some are now close friends, though not all, regardless of how often we see them in and around Domino. They are Joey, Tristan, Serenity, Seto, Mokuba, Duke, Mai, Odeon, Ishizu, Mako, Weevil, Rex, Alistar, Lucian, Tea, Noah, Valon, and Pegasus. Though it does wear you down when one of the people you hate most is constantly hanging around you, and those you care about, like Tea, often do. Man, is that girl a two-faced bitch, as whenever she’s around the Yami’s, particularly my Yami, she’s all bubbly and sweet. Whereas when it’s just us Hikaris or girls, she’s an outright mega bitch, showing her true colors as she gossips and spreads rumors, especially about us Hikaris.
Joey, Tristan, Tea, Seto, and Mokuba were the first friends I made after we “awoke,” well, Tea more or less plays at being friends to seem more attractive to guys. Joey and Tristan were another story, as they only started hanging out with me after an incident with Ushio. This primary bully targeted those weaker than himself or, instead, was supposedly weaker than himself. He beat the two knuckleheads, leaving them needing medical attention and showing them to me before attempting to demand a fee. None of them had expected me to react as I had - giving the aforementioned knucklehead medical attention before Ushio mistakenly tried to threaten with a pocket knife. I found himself on his knees as I held his blade to his neck, warning him away from my friends and me after getting home for the day. Telling grandpa what happened to have a good laugh with him about the whole thing, only to have Joey show up with something that had been missing.
After that, things started to get enjoyable. My Yami made his first appearance and dealt with Ushio; Joey began learning to play Duel Monsters. I dueled Seto after he messed with my grandpa. I first interacted with Shadow magic and Maximillion Pegasus, where he used his millennium eye to win the duel and steal my grandfather’s soul as collateral. And ensure my participation in his tournament being held on his private island within many other duelists were participating. The boys, bitchy, and I wasn’t the only ones there either. During the boat ride to the island, we met several duelists, such as Mai, Weevil, and Rex. After arriving on the island, things picked up quickly; we saw a few familiar faces. In the end, despite all of Pegasus’ efforts, my Yami and I were the victors after beating Pegasus at his own game, becoming the “King” of Games. To my best friends’ endless amusement and other reactions from those around me.
Then came Seto’s Battlecity tournament, which preceded Malik and Yami’s arrival. However, with it came the opening of a new exhibit based on the Nameless Pharaoh at the Domino Museum. Ryou and I weren’t really all that surprised by the sudden appearance of the rare hunters, as we Hikari’s always kept in touch via magic. However, it wasn’t known to any of our friends, especially not the Yami. As Seto’s tournament gradually intensified, Hikari’s met up in bodies formed with our magic to have some fun. They spread a little mischief throughout Battlecity without alerting our Yami’s and co. The finals got a little out of hand when Bastet and a few other gods decided to make things more interesting; their idea was to give us physical replicas of our bodies and place our souls within them. Leaving the yami’s to inhabit their bodies alone as most were gawking at us in our new and very naked bodies. Our only reaction was to catalog the situation calmly and casually ask Mai, Ishizu, and the bitch for spare clothes while mentioning certain perverts watching us. Suddenly not only were the named females moving but so were Joey and his sister, the Kaiba’s and our yami’s, most of them glaring at Tristan and Duke. Thankfully the whole experience only held until the final round of Battlecity with my Yami, the victor. However, it amused us Hikari's to no end how over-protective our yami’s became concerning our new looks and the looks they got us from Tristan and Duke.
Then came the Orichalcos incident, where I allowed myself to pay the price for my Yami’s darkness only to remove it in a duel. The whole series of events ended with us defeating Dartz and ultimately preventing him from summoning his legendary beast. Then came another tournament via Seto, held at his amusement park. The bonus prize was the winner dueling against us in a duel, where we met Leon and his older brother. After that fiasco came our final adventure, our journey to retrieve my yami’s memories of the past which became a shadow game against Zorc the Destroyer, who was imprisoned in the shadow realm. We were initially worried before discovering a way to aid them in their fight. We went without a second thought on the matter, only to be separated within a world of their memories. After everyone caught their bearings, finding they were essentially ghosts, I fell back into my role as the Snake of Kehmet. It wasn’t until the high priest Seth started scolding they even noticed my existence within the memory world. Eventually, we all gathered together secretly within my Yami’s palace, getting a brief rundown of the situation.
An unexpected miracle came in the form of Seto and his blue-eyes white dragons, whose unforeseen aid led to our victory against Zorc. We all said goodbye to the past and returned to the present to complete two more tasks, for the yami’s to be free ad the items laid to rest at long last, never to be seen or heard of again. The Ishtars needed to lead us to the pharaoh’s tomb for the six blessed protectors; it was built by the people in honor of us girls and our brothers. Something we didn’t expect was that it was commissioned by the pharaoh’s surviving court. Just seeing the inscriptions and carvings about us, Hikari Demjin, caused the Yami to receive an influx of memories. It wasn’t until the section depicting our part in the fight against Zorc that they broke at us, having fought only to fall before he was sealed. However, after the battle with observers, the six seemed to depart from the world in a shower of light. The others began asking questions, with Yami responding without missing a beat. At the same time, we Hikari stood by their sides, offering comfort as our bindings prevented us from telling them the truth.
The final task was for my yami and I to duel each other with no holds bar, and having me win the duel fairly would fix most of the mess we were dealing with. During the fight, we gave each other a run for our money as the “Royals” of gaming, though when the duel was over, I was the victor, and the Yami’s finally free. Excluding us, Hikari and the others were trying to talk the Yami’s into staying; Tea was trying especially hard to get the Yami’s to remain in a method she thought attractive. Yet when the three finally walked through the doors to their afterlife, getting quite shocked when they saw us there, we told them the whole truth about not having been their reincarnations. Still, Ra of the Egyptian pantheon dragged entirely different people into the mess. By the time we finished explaining everything, they were a mix of shocked and outraged with everyone that meddled in our lives for one reason or another. It was touching how much they cared for us even if they didn’t know our real names, even with us giving as much information as possible to help them figure it out with some help. So when they asked us to tell them how they could find us again in the real world, we were shocked that they wanted to find us. When we finally came out of our shock, we warned them they may not have been expecting what they saw when they found us, but eventually, we caved and told them to talk with my grandpa. They promised to find us again even if the rest of the gang weren’t along for the ride. With that, we hugged them one last time and with tears in our eyes as we said our goodbyes until we met again in the real world.
After that, the next thing we remember is waking up in our hospital beds at St. Mungos and sitting up with a jolt at the realization. Then asking for our families after scaring the crap out of the nurse who was just in to check our current condition. Everything after our family's arrival was a blur, from being given clothes in our preferred styles and dressing to signing ourselves out and making a quick departure from Mungos and Diagon Alley. Then everyone met back up at the Potter Manor to celebrate my and the girls' return. Basically, it was our families interrogating us about details Grandpa Fenrir either left out deliberately for their sake or that he didn’t know to begin with. The day quickly faded to night, resulting in Snape’s and Longbottom’s spending the night with us girls curling up in my bed after examining the slight alterations in our appearance. For me, my left eye is now permanently changed to amethyst; for Ryou, it’s a streak of the same shade as Bakura’s. And Malik now bore the same natural markings under her eyes as Marik.
