When Whisky Turned To Tea

Regulus and James fell in love.

Their not sure how it happened, but it did.

Maybe it started with timid handshakes that turned into brazen kisses.

Or those long winter walks that turned into warm summer picnics out near the sparkling lake.

It could have been late nights with bottles of whiskey that turned into early mornings with cradled cups of tea.

When slow afternoons that were hollow and seemed to stretch on for days swirled into filled conversations with a warm haze.

Their not sure how it happened, but Regulus knows that it's the best thing that happened to him, this sun speckled boy. And James knows the moon gave him a gift when he first laid eyes on Regulus.

Their not sure how it happened but they know it was always meant to be.
