The First Task
After Cassie’s introduction was done, more and more students began to arrive at the hall. Cassie immediately realized this was the Triwizard Tournament, as she had read the entire event in her universe. Cassie knew what was bound to happen. She felt like stopping the scheme in this year from the beginning, but decided not to, for the sake of Harry’s awakening as a better fighter. This was the perfect opportunity for Cassie to prepare this world’s ‘hero’ for the war which awaited him. Cassie was concerned about Harry’s trust, but all she had to do was to use Truth Serum on Harry.
"As you know, three champions compete in the tournament, one from each of the participating schools. They will be marked on how well they perform each of the Tournament tasks and the champion with the highest total after task three will win the Triwizard Cup. The champions will be chosen by an impartial selector: the Goblet of Fire”, Dumbledore explained. Cassie saw Cedric Diggory, Viktor Krum, and Fleur Delacour submit their names to the goblet. However, to Cassie’s surprise, the Weasley twins. Fred and George didn’t go to submit their names, as they were too busy doing ‘hero talk’ Hermione started. Hermione was too excited by seeing Wonder Girl in front of her, as she began to talk again.
“I never thought a Superhero would come to Hogwarts! This is our luckiest year!”, Hermione said. Harry and Dean Thomas nodded. They both knew about superheroes as the former had muggle relatives which he visited on vacations, and the latter was a muggleborn.
“Who’s your favorite?”, Dean asked. Hermione’s answer was only one certain amazon.
“Definitely Wonder Woman! She’s strong and compassionate at the same time! Superman is the second”, Hermione replied. They were all looking at the hero book Hermione brought to the hall.
“I sometimes wish to be strong like Superman. If I were, things would be more easier”, Harry sighed.
“Sorry Harry. We prefer Green Lanterns! We want their rings for more mischief!”, Fred and George said at the same time.
“But you have to conquer all of your fears to use their powers, right? You are still scared of mom yelling at you”, Ron replied. The twins lowered their heads in shame, as they let their younger brother roast them.
“They who’s your favorite, Ron? You have to tell us”, the twins retorted. Ron had too many options inside him, as every one of the superheroes looked appealing. Ron finally managed to pull out his answer.
“Well... probably Batman for me... It says he’s the greatest detective, and his cape puts Snape’s to shame”, Ron said.
“Are you serious? Batman has no powers!”, Seamus laughed as Ron gave his answer. Cassie decided to join the talk, as she knew Batman was not someone to be underestimated.
“Well, he has no powers, but he is the most genius among the league. He probably has a contingency plan for all of them, even Superman!”, Cassie replied. Seamus could only nod. However, he was not going down that easy.
“Well then, Neville! Who’s your favorite!”, Seamus asked. Neville wanted to be brave, even though he didn’t realize he already was. So his answer was clear.
“I want to be brave... like Captain America and Nightwing... They have no impressive powers but they do lead from the front”, Neville answered. Cassie almost had a bitter smile at ‘Nightwing’, as she respected Dick Grayson, but despised Damian Wayne. Hermione decided to add more information, as she knew about one more brave hero.
“Well, they are not the only brave heroes. Iron Man carried a nuke into a portal when the Avengers fought Chitauri invasion led by Loki in New York!”, Hermione said. Everyone, even Cassie, was impressed by how much the girl knew about superheroes. However, their talk came to an end as the goblet started blow fire out of itself. They were too busy talking about heroes when Harry’s name came out. Harry never realized until Dumbledore called him.
“Harry Potter!”, Dumbledore yelled. Harry finally realized and turned to the headmaster. Cassie sighed deeply. Dumbledore showed Harry the paper which had Harry’s name. The Gryffindor table finally realized what was going on, as they all looked at Harry.
“No”, Hagrid said. The student other than Gryffindor began to say ‘He’s a cheat’. Cassie decided to intervene, as her duty was to protect Harry.
“Are you wizards and witches all dumb?! Harry was talking with us, the WHOLE TIME. He had no time to put his name in the goblet. You know there is a scheme involving him every year. This is just another scheme, probably by Dark Lord”, Cassie said sternly. The students went silent as they understood her words, and lowered their dumb heads in shame. Dumbledore nodded at Cassie as he felt the same way.
“I’m sorry my dear Harry. I was just upset... knowing another scheme happened to you”, Dumbledore said. Harry just sighed as the new troublesome year for him had began.
“You don’t have to compete, Mr Potter. We will figure out who did this. Headmaster, we must cancel his entry!”, McGonagall said. However, Cassie had a different idea.
“Why not let Harry compete? I mean, this is a great opportunity for Harry to become more skilled. Even if this is a scheme, I think Harry should compete”, Cassie proposed. Everyone was surprised at Cassie’s remark and went silent, until Harry broke it.
“I will compete in the tournament, sir. Even if something bad happens, I have faith in my new bodyguard and the teachings she can give me”, Harry said as he took his place alongside the three other champions.

Days have passed since Harry’s name came out of the goblet. However, thanks to Wonder Girl’s words, Harry didn’t have to lose his trust, to Cassie’s relief. This day, Harry heard from Hagrid the first task involved Dragons. Harry was discussing with Cassie how he should fight the dragon with Ron and Hermione.
“So you told every other champions about the dragon?! You could had a huge advantage if you didn’t”, Cassie said.
“I think I would be cheating like they said if I was the only one who knew. I think we should devise a plan for now”, Harry replied.
“For the first record, the size difference is a huge disadvantage for Harry. Don’t you have any magic that can make you bigger?”, Cassie asked.
“Well we do have Engorgio for that... but we don’t know whether Harry can use that on himself. The spell could make human body explode if it’s too much! Can’t you just think of how to outrun the dragon? Harry probably doesn’t have to beat it”, Ron answered.
“Yeah, if the dragon is both fast and big, that plan won’t work. We can use Finite if Harry is about to explode”, Hermione replied.
“Then it’s decided I have to use Engorgio. What’s next?”, Harry moved on to the next topic.
“Blinding the dragon can come in handy when you want to hit it in your giant state. You would also want a weapon to hit the dragon’s head and an armor to protect yourself from the dragon’s fire”, Cassie said. Harry knew exactly whom to ask for these request.
“For the weapon, I can use Engorgio on my Firebolt. I will have Fred and George for the smoke screen. I will have Dobby make me an metal armor for protection”, Harry said.
“You will come with me to train hand-to-hand combat, Harry. I don’t get why you wizards rely on wands so much when you need actual skills”, Cassie said as she left with Harry.

The day of the first task had come. Harry was facing a Hungarian Horntail. Charlie gasped as he knew a lot about dragons.
“This is bad... Hungarian Horntail is the most dangerous specie in the dragons... it’s too reckless...”, however, Cassie, who was now sitting with the Weasleys and Hermione was confident.
“Don’t worry. I’ve taught Harry better than to jump into its mouth and get burned to death”, Cassie replied. The first task had began as Harry looked at the dragon.
“Okay, let’s this be a fair fight. Engorgio!”, Harry yelled as he pointed his wand at himself. Everyone gasped as Harry began to grow in size as tall as the dragon, becoming a 10-meter giant. The Dragon breathed fire at Harry, who dodged it by rolling away. Harry threw a smoke screen at the dragon’s eye, blinding it for a while. This gave Harry enough time to summon his weapon.
“Accio, Firebolt!”, Harry yelled as the firebolt came toward him. The dragon managed to fly behind Harry and tackled Harry, attacking Harry with its claws. Harry grabbed the Dragon’s neck while being pinned on the ground and span the neck around after he kicked the dragon’s chest. Harry eventually threw dragon away like a doll. Harry wasn’t hurt badly by the claws thanks to the armor produced by Dobby.
“Yes! Master Harry’s armor protected him!”, Dobby cheered. Harry looked at Dobby and winked at the house elf. Harry knew what he had to do next, as he pointed his wand at his firebolt.
“Engorgio!”, Harry said again. The bloom became large enough to smack the dragon down. The dragon breathed fire again toward Harry. Harry got onto the gigantic firebolt and flew away from the fire. When Harry got above the dragon, he jumped off from the bloom and grabbed it. Harry slammed the Dragon’s head with the gigantic bloom, using it as the same way as Nightwing’s escrima stick. The Dragon received enough damage to have a concussion and fell on the ground unconscious.
“I’m sorry, but I had no choice. I promise I won’t hurt your child”, Harry said to the unconscious dragon. Harry caressed the dragon’s real egg with affection for the dragon’s child. Harry then grabbed the golden egg and raised it up in the air. However, the dragon woke up from its unconsciousness. It was about to attack Harry until Harry gave its real egg back to the dragon, before caressing the egg in front of the beast. The Dragon nodded at Harry who returned its real egg to its nest. Harry hugged the dragon’s head, wanting to make up for the violence he had committed on the innocent animal. At the moment, Harry had gained an ally as the dragon accepted him. Charlie was tearing up as he saw Harry form a bond with the dragon.
“He did it... Harry tamed the dragon, and the egg isn’t harmed!”, Charlie said as everyone cheered at Harry. Meanwhile, another Dragon was chasing a dog while Cedric grabbed the golden egg. Viktor had managed to get the golden egg, but destroyed the real one in the process, much to Charlie’s dismay. Fleur’s opponent was forced to sleep by Fleur’s spell.
“Harry... thank Merlin both you and the dragon are safe...”, Hagrid was just crying from the relief and impression. Ron was grateful to Cassie for advising Harry.
“Thank you! Thank you! Harry made it thanks to you!”, Ron lowered his head at Cassie to show his gratitude
“Well, I just taught him and trained him. It’s Harry you should be praising”, Cassie replied. They all looked at Harry and cheered at the champion, who had shrunk his body down by saying ‘Finite’.
