"we're such a mess together... you make me lose my temper!"
Uzi was walking to class with Thad, her best friend, there were some rumors about them dating but Uzi saw Thad as just a friend, nothing more. Thad was talking to her but she wasn't listening, well... It wasn't on purpose she was trying to listen but her thoughts went somewhere else, a memory she keeps thinking about and can't stop.
{This was when she was 10}
It was late at night, and Uzi wanted to hang out with her favorite person in the world, Lizzy of course! Uzi walked to a familiar block clinching something in her pocket making sure its still there and then walked around the house to Lizzy's room, she opened the window and saw Lizzy laying on her bed just staring at the ceiling.
"Hey Lizzy!" Uzi said as she waved.
Lizzy jumped a bit to the sound of Uzi's voice and turned her head to where her voice was coming from, her eyes widen slightly as she walks over to the window. "Uzi? What are you doing here? Its super late! Shouldn't you be asleep?" Lizzy whispered
"Shouldn't you also me asleep? Besides! I came to see you and hang out! Come on it'll be fun i promise!" Uzi said with a grin.
"Well... I... Ok good point... " Lizzy mumbled as she looks at her door then back at Uzi. "I guess i can sneak out if i be very quiet and be back by 3..."
"Great! Come on! I've got you!" Uzi extends her hand out for Lizzy to take and helps her down the window of her bedroom and then they we off! To Uzi's favorite place to hang out at this time... The forest! It was peaceful and quiet great for relaxing.
They ran through the forest hand by hand, their hair flowing behind them as they ran, Uzi then stopped at a tall tree letting go of Lizzy's hand and turning to her, "hey Liz? Wanna see me climb this tree?" she says as she points to the tree.
Lizzy looks up the tree then looks back at Uzi, "uh are you sure Uzi? Its looks pretty tall." she raises an eyebrow.
"On come on Liz! Its not that high!" Uzi smirks and starts climbing the tree, grabbing and stepping on branches as she made her way up.
Lizzy clinches her hands together, "be careful Uzi! You might get hurt!" she says as she looks up at Uzi with a nervous face.
"I'll be fine! You gonna stop worrying so much Liz!" Uzi yelled as she made is to a steady branch and sat down. "You should come up here princess! The view is nice!"
Lizzy hesitated a bit, "ok! Im coming up!" her hand grips on a branch as she pulls herself up and carefully makes her way up to the branch Uzi is on and then sits down. "Wow... It is a nice view..." she mumbles softly "its getting late i should really get back home Zi..."
Uzi turns her head to face Lizzy's, "Come on Liz! Don't be a party pooper! Stay a little longer? Please?" Uzi plead.
"Well alright a just a little longer ok?" Lizzy said as she faced back to the view.
Uzi also turned to face the view but kept stealing glances at Lizzy, the way her curly golden blonde hair blew in the wind made Uzi's heart flutter a bit, "her hair is so pretty... I wish i can play with it..." Uzi's cheeks then turned a light purple color as she realized what she thought, "why am i feeling this way?..." her thoughts then got interrupted by Lizzy speaking up.
"Uzi? Are you alright? Your cheeks look a bit purple. "Lizzy said as she tilted her head to the side.
Uzi turned to face Lizzy, " uh... Yep! Everythings alright Lizzy no need to worry about me!" she smiles nervously, " i actually have something to give to you... " she mumbles as she scratches the back of her neck.
Lizzy looked at her a bit confused as she moved her bangs to the side of her face, "oh? What is it?" she asks curiously.
Uzi took a deep breath and then shoved bracelets in Lizzy's face, one was purple and black with a moon and the other one was pink and yellow with a sun, "I-I made these matching bracelets for us..." she mumbled as she looks away from Lizzy as her cheeks turn a brighter purple.
Lizzy's eyes widened and sparkle as she puts a hand over her mouth, "oh wow... They're amazing Uzi! I love them!" she said excitedly as she takes the pink and yellow sun one and puts it on.
Uzi smiles gently as she admires Lizzy's face and she also puts the bracelet on her wrist, she then felt Lizzy's head on her shoulder, her heart started beating a bit quicker but ignored it.
"Thanks for not leaving Liz..." Uzi mumbles as she rests her head on top of Lizzy's.
"Of course Zi zi i would never leave. You'll always be my favorite person." Lizzy said as she closed her eyes and smiled.
That was one of Uzi's favorite memories if not her favorite memory from her childhood, she would hate to admit it but she really misses the ways things were between her and Lizzy, but it's like one day Lizzy just threw it all away without saying why or what caused it. Uzi sighed as she looked down and pulled up her sleeve and looked down at the bracelet she made her and Lizzy, she still wore it, she always had since that day, it was like comfort for her as if Lizzy was still friends with her... She didn't understand why she did what she did.
"Copper-9 to Zi! Hello!" Thad said as he waved a hand in front of Uzi's face, "are you alright? You seemed spaced out for a while." he said with concerned in his voice.
Uzi looked up at Thad as she pulled her sleeve down, "yea... Im fine let's just get to cla-" her words cut off as she bumped into someone causing her to stumble a bit.
"Watch where your going next time!" Uzi froze as soon as she heard the voice, it was her's, Lizzy.
"Great what a perfect time to bump into her.." Uzi thought to herself as she spoke up, "yea yea whatever..." she said as she rolled her eyes.
"I don't got time to deal with this right now. Just... Watch where your going." Lizzy gave Uzi a cold glare and then left with Doll and Rebecca at her side.
"Bite me Lizzy!" Uzi yelled but then Thad put a hand on her shoulder trying to calm her down, Uzi thoughts we're everywhere as they entered their class.
