Oh god the priest is the devil
LILY'S POV
Her eyes shot open, already stinging with the smoke. As Lily looked around the now burnt room, the smell of burned wood and plastic stung her nose. Making Lily pinch it. As she were about to stand the sounds of a crying child filled the room. That was one that had bought Lily back to reality. That was her child there crying her eyes out after what seem like an explosion. With the little adrenaline left in herself, Lily picked herself up already regreting relying on her arms but she needed get out of there. Finally limping towards her child Lily couldn't stop thinking about the people she lost. First her parent, then some of the figures she looked up to then some her friends. A tear ran down her ashy face Lily quickly wiped it away she needed to be strong now.
Still a bit wobbly, Lily shushed her daughter to quiet it down but god literally said ' lol nope'. Making it quite hard for Lily to focus on gathering stuff they'd. At last her daughter had grown tired and stuck with tugging her hair. Passing her dead ass husband, memories from her Hogwarts years would come rushing to her but Lily kept her stance. But she covered James as it made her uncomfortable. RIP man.
Tools check. Mental stability to keep going check. Yep she was ready. Ready to move on and shelter, rethink then fight again. It wasn't a clear plan but that was she had left with a child in her hands also being possibly one of the true survivors of the killing curse. Lily gave a small glance back her now destroyed, burnt and mishapened house then walked off. Afraid that using magic would cause more trouble than now. Lily's eyes wept as she walked mourning many deaths, that didn't matter know she needed to find shelter quick.
That was a thing about Lily she would likely ignore her thoughts when fully fledged on a plan, even if that plan was to clean her room one in a while. Morning was starting to rise and still no shelter neither breakfast. Lily looked around the area she was in then turning her attention to a church. It were big church like those ancient ones, the one Lily was familier with. During her stay at Godric's Hollow, Lily spent her time taking her daughter around even meeting a priest there. His name were Nirvana Rias quiet elderly he was but not as elderly as Dumbledore. heh.
The church had pang of cinnamon and lavender smell. That smell had calm Lily just a bit but not enough for her to somehow relax. She looked down at her daughter and the warmth she radiated coming to a name like Harriet. May it seemed weird but it fitted her quite well also that named belonged to a badass slave escaper. It suited her quite well. A survivor from the many horrors that awaited.
Entering the church, it were empty but it seemed the area was ambushed with the sounds of angels. Or Lily's head playing tricks on her. Another was that tiny miniscule voices were coming from every corner, warning and screeching at her to stop. They finally stooped when Nirvana turned to her.
"Oh good morning Lily. Such a lovely weather today" , he pondered eyeing Harriet more than usual. " I assume you've come all this way for advice, hmm" Nirvana finished with slickening smirk on his strecthy face.
" Yes lord. I've come here to ask your lordiness for some shelter advise", croaked Lily suprised at how small her voice was. " Yes yes, I've noticed that but would a few cup of teas aid you" he pestered her inching close to Lily. Lily inched back, her anxiety levels rising at an extreme rate. The room temperature dropped to an excelling rate, but Lily was quick enough to run out the room only to meet a horrible dread.
The door was locked shut.
Looming behind her the priest had called out her name. Wreching with curses that he killed his master. Lily strained to look back but curiosity and paranoia had gotten the best. What stood in front of Lily was one reasons she ought to get scared with.
What stood there wasn't just the priest no it was full on horrendous creature. That glared at her, whilst caressing its sword like weapon. Probably antisipating to shred Lily and Harriet to bacon bits with it. The now ugly priest licked it's mouth showing dozens of shark like teeth and giving of a pungent cheese odor. He didn't look human at all with characteristics being the cathlotic clothes now stretched but his humanly features were replaced with charcoal skin and spikes spewing every now and then, then there was an ugly scar covering half of his inhuman eyes making it worse.
As quick as flash Nirvana pounced himself onto Lily Sword at the ready but sadly had missed with Lily's apparation. She wasn't given 'Brightest of their age' for nothing. No she was given it to honour her losses and for actually trying. Nirvana gave another slash the another missing each time. How could a petty mortal and baby be so hard to miss. With that baby making such a racket. As Nirvana kept slashing so has Lily with her makeshift wand.
" You know you can't keep dodging me Miss Potter", hissed the priest done with Lily's antics. Fully digesting that she was right behind him. With an uproar Nirvana had clawed through Lily's shoulder and making Harriet fall to the ground. As pain coursed her body, in a matter of a millisecond the disgusting priest had punctured through Lily's shoulder into the cement wall. He smiled wickedly at her eyes having deranged flare to them.
Nirvana turned to where her daughtered was now crying. Such a pitiful sight it were to see. A baby with no useful skill neither personality only to be killed in matter of seconds by her enemies follower. All that dodging and slashing had drained Nirvana's energy but it were enough to suffice his next action. "Don't you little imp all your troubles will soon go away", he gestered creeping closer than ever.
Anxiety levels were rising fast, Lily tugged and tugged but it didn't matter it was no use as that priest did a hefty job on puncturing her. Lily looked a her surrounding hoping for some sign or call then it came to her stuff. She didn't pack much, the only good souverniers that were important was an old family gun and wand. the old was a story for later but that was the one close enough to her that wouldn't distract Nirvana. Reaching out with her her bad arm. "Accio 9mm auto pistol", muttered Lily as quick as a spam the pistol was in her hands.
Guns were a hard mechinisms to hold as they were fall out of your hand or making your eardrums hurt like an earthquake. But in fact you can hold a pistol in one hand and still shoot a person it was easier to hold wit two hands. Back to the story eye on target, finger at the trigger. She shot. The noise was deafaning but it di it's job blasting the wretched man through his eye socket. Maybe it was flaming pain that made Lily say this, "Well what can I say, I'm a badass", she hummed.
Quickly as ever Lily apparated from her spot clutching the gun tight as ever. The sword was still in her arm, making it flood with blood down her sweater. She picked up Harriet who was silent as ever maybe it was the sound that made her silent. Lily worried that this may effect her child once more. She looked down at the priest in disgust. He looked absolutly awful, the blood made a makeshift on the floor his mouth wide open showing his once knarly teeth rotting. His good eye staring endlessly at the floor showing no signs of life. Lily did not feel any sympathy for that monster. Only remorse that it was finally over. She looked around her surroundings, an idea sparked in her mind.
As the two of them sat on the ground they stared at the burning church. Lily had no supplies now only a pistol and wand. With a low health bar. "Hate to say it buddy but I think it's time to visit yor aunt", her words slurred due to the loss of blood and how tired she was. A final glare at the church Lily apparated to her ever dreadful older sister. Hating the fact she needed help from her.
Standing at the front door Lily banged on it. It was harsh one not a silly one. When it finally opened after a minute or so. Lily passed out face first to the ground, holding Harriet tight. Petunia stared shocked at her younger sister's arrival, who was bleeding in a short notice. Petunia immediatly rung the hospital tears streaming down her long face. Harsh memories coming back to her.
When the ambulance drove off Petunia stood at her porch dazed at how her sister got injured so badly. Now it wasn't the time to think she needed to wake Veron up now.
