Strange Red Heads and My father has Escaped.
I sit in the uncomfortable chair in what I've been told is a courthouse. One second I'm sitting on my bed trying to find a charm to fix my ripped in half book, (Thank you, Greta), and the next I'm in a court chair after my door is busted down with a very upset Greta and some very tense aurors like come on my dad is Sirius Black it's not like I killed someone.
"So Miss-"
"Mister, actually Minister Fudge, Aiden Is Transgender and Identifies as male. I ask that everyone in this courtroom respects that." Says a woman looking no older than 21. She had bright pink hair and olive-toned skin, She flashed a smile at me.
The Man who I now knew as Minister Fudge looked at the woman and then looked at me.
"Very well Miss Tonks, So Mister Black, Are you aware of the reason why we are holding this hearing?" the man asked expectingly like I knew something about this.
"No Minister I do not know why we are here today holding this hearing," I said very confused
The man sighed like how Greta does when I transfigure Andrew into a rat. "We are holding this hearing today because you, Aiden Black are believed to be in communication with your father Sirius Black after his escape from Azkaban Prison earlier this month. How do you plead?" He looks at me as if this is the biggest decision of my life.
"Not Guilty," I say with complete confidence, I've never met my father let alone helped him escape from prison.
"So you deny ever having contact with your father?" Said a witch in the courtroom
"Yes, I have never spoken or written to him."
Minister Fudge looked at my confused face and sighed "We have no evidence from either side as to what happened so I propose this. Aiden is to be released to a trusted person's care and to be monitored very carefully. Right now, young man you are on probation, with No slip-ups or anything, You will attend Hogwarts this year and will attend the sorting. You will start as a third year as I have been informed you have excelled at your studies, This shouldn't be a challenge for you. Now comes the question, Who volunteers to take guardianship of Aiden Black?"
The whole room went silent before A man with bright red hair perked up. "I shall, I am to be a professor at Hogwarts this year so it is an extra opportunity to watch over him."
"Very well then, Aiden Black will be in the care of Remus Jonathan Lupin for the time being as we investigate further, Dismissed."
Aiden got up from the chair as the man walked toward him with a smile. "I have a feeling we will get along well Aiden."
