Jonathan didn't expect this...

Hanging out with Steve wasn't that bad as he expected, the past few days after they've been partnered for potions, Jonathan got to know a lot about Steve.

He used to believe that Steve was just another playboy and a jerk that gets away with anything because his Parents are filthy rich.

But no... He was wrong about Steve.

These past few days, Jonathan has been hanging out with Steve and he was able fo thank Steve for saving him from another one of his Asthma attack

Based on Hanging out with Steve for the past few days, Jonathan realized that he was completely wrong about Steve.

In fact Steve was a nice person, he might not look like it, because of the rumours people made up about him, but he is.

But there's something that caught Jonathan's attention about Steve...

Jonathan's POV:

"Wait so do you wear glasses for styling or is your eyesight really bad?" Steve asks me while we were making our way to Diagon Alley to buy some textbooks.

I replied with a shrug making him whine.

"Come on, Byers, tell me" Steve says with a whine

"Yeah, my eyesight is really bad" I replied

"Isn't there a spell that can make you see clearer?" Steve says as I chuckle at what he just said

This guy has been living in the wizarding world for 13 years and he still doesn't know that there is no such thing as 'a spell that can make you see clearer'

"You should really read more books or focus on Charms class" I say as i let out another chuckle

"Hey, I do read books!" Steve replies with sarcasm in his tone

"Books about the wizarding world, Steve, not thriller books" I say as i shake my head

"But I enjoy those" Steve replies with a pout

I couldn't help but smile at it

"I didn't tell you to stop reading those, I'm just saying that you should read more books about our class topics" I say as he lets out a little chuckle

"Nerd" Steve whispers but i was sure that i heard what he said

"What did you say?" I ask him

"Nothing" as he continues chuckling

We finally made it to Diagon Alley, we were walking around looking for the shop where you can buy textbooks.

We saw the shop, but... We also saw some 3rd years, and there was also a 1st year or a 2nd year student?

One of the 3rd year students was about to cast a spell on the younger student.

The younger student shut his eyes and covered his face, getting ready to get hit by the spell, but before that happens-

"Petrificus Totalus" Steve says as he casts the spell to the 3rd year student

There it was, the thing that caught Jonathan's attention... Steve's eyes.

If Jonathan knows something about Steve it's that, Steve doesn't show his emotions that much, he was always Happy, worried, relaxed, when he's with Jonathan.

But then Jonathan noticed something.

It's how Steve's eyes expresses his emotions. If Steve was happy, Jonathan would know, cause that guy always has that killer smile that makes other students fall in love with him.

But when Steve was upset, he doesn't show it, but you can see it in his eyes.

It was Rage... Steve's brown Iris became darker, it scared Jonathan a bit

Jonathan was snapped back to reality when he heard the other 3rd years speak.

"Oh you-" another 3rd year pulled his wand out of his pocket but was stopped when Steve casts another Petrificus Totalus.

The last 3rd year was holding his wand pointing it at Steve

"I'll count to 3 and if you're still here, may Merlin forgive me for what I'm about to do" Steve says calmly

The 3rd year hesitated and pointed the wand to Jonathan instead-

"Obliviate" Steve casts, hitting the 3rd year

Obliviate?! Huh... That was the spell that makes People lose their memories right?

Steve placed his wand back to his robe and his eye's softened. As he started walking towards the child

"Hey, kiddo, you're okay now, those guys won't hurt you anymore" Steve says to the kid with a smile and helps the kid get up from the ground.

"Thank you, Mr. Harrington" the kid says with a smile making Steve chuckle

Jonathan saw a woman approaching the kid and Steve

"Setien, there you are!" The mom says as she hugs her children.

The kid... Setien told his Mom what happened and the Mom thank Steve for what be did.

Setien and his Mom said goodbye to Steve and Jonathan, making their way to the crowded part of the alley.

"Steve" Jonathan says

"Yeah?" Steve replies

"Isn't Obliviate a little to much? I mean d-don't get me wrong, what those guys did was really bad, but... Why that spell?" Jonathan ask as he gulps nervously

There it was, once again... Steve's eyes... This time Jonathan can't read through it. Is it disappointment?

"Let's just say that, that particular Student deserved it. Conversation over" Steve says.

They made their way inside the Flourish and Blotts shop as Steve's eyes soften, once again.

Steve bought 8 textbooks, as he gave Jonathan 4 of his textbooks

"Huh- I still have some textbooks Steve-"

"Just take it" Steve says with a smile as his eyes glow

Jonathan nods and took the textbooks.

Steve also bought some parchments, knowing that he'll need it in the future.

After paying for the items, they went outside.

"So, where do you wanna eat?" Steve asks out of no where

"No, You've been generous enough to me, I can eat at the Great Hall later" I say as i smile nervously

"I said. Where do you wana eat?" Steve repeats

Jonathan sighs, he knows damn well that he will lose the argument anyways.

"We can go to Leaky Couldron, but Steve i swear I'm ful-"

"Leaky Couldron it is, let's go"

Steve and Jonathan finished eating and was making their way back to Hogwarts.

"Remember that time that i asked you if we can hangout here when it's finally Holidays?" Steve says

"Yeah, I remember that"

"I changed my mind, let's hangout in the muggle world instead" Steve says as he held Jonathan's right hand

Jonathan's eyes widened

"Why, the muggle world?" Sure Jonathan doesn't think that the normal world is that bad. But that world has messed Jonathan physically and mentally. He prefers to stay in the wizarding world instead of the Muggle world

"I want to learn things, in the muggle world, like what do you calk that... Wait it's in the tip of my tongue.... A GUITAR yes, a guitar, i wanna learn that" Steve says as he lets go of Jonathan's hand

"Well... I don't know how to play a guitar. But you can get a tutor at muggle school. They'll treat you right there since you're not some quiet person, you're popular so those tutors wouldn't mind teaching you" Jonathan replies
