"Harry I found one of these, I've named him Fuzz Bod" Harry emerged from the bathroom with trepidation, the last time Draco had gone for a walk he'd brought home a duck, declaring that he'd named it Tofu, he seemed to be of the opinion that if he named it he owned it.

Entering the lounge Harry was shocked, "isn't the name perfect, isn't he beautiful" Draco looked as pleased as punch. Harry blinked and rubbed his temples, he was use to the eccentricities that were Draco Malfoy, but one thing he hadn't been expecting when he walked into the lounge was to find a Highland cow.

"How did you get it into the living room?" Draco pointed at himself and reminded him "hello. I'm a wizard". He thought and not for the first time, that at times being married to Draco, was like how he'd imagine it would be like if he was married to Hagrid, minus the beard. Speaking of Hagrid he was coming over for a cup of tea in a bit. No guesses on what Hagrid would think of there new house guest. True to form the half Giant thought that Fuzz Bod was beautiful. Although Hagrid thought that all the animals Draco brought home were beautiful, be it a very grumpy pigeon or a rabbit.

Harry new to expect the unexpected with Draco, and so walking into the bathroom he merely rolled his eyes, and told his wayward husband not to use all of the shampoo, although he had to admit that it was an adorable scene, a very wet and shampoo covered highland cow, and Draco washing it stood in just a pair of underpants, the thickness of the hair made Harry think of Hermione, he didn't mention this to Draco, the last thing he needed was for Draco to change the cow's name and the cows namesake to pop over, as she often did.

This had all started when Harry had brought home some frogspawn in a large jar. He remembered when Dudley had had some. Well Draco was fascinated, dipping his fingers in the jar. He was even using Harry's phone to look up how to take care of them.

Draco had run into their bedroom, and when Harry didn't wake up he'd been landed on by a very excited Draco telling him "legs, some of them have legs, come and see". He was then dragged through their flat to look. He had also been woken up by a very worried Draco "Harry! Something's wrong, there loosing their tails". Harry had used his phone to show Draco the life cycle of a frog.

It was the fact that they lived in a flat that meant that it wasn't really the appropriate environment to have a pet highland cow, Draco argued that "we could make the flat bigger".

In the end they'd returned the cow to the field of many other cows in Scotland, which was a great distance from their flat in London. Draco had explained he'd saw them on the telly and decided to go and see them for real, then when Fuzz Bod had wandered over "it was fate, Hagrid would of let me keep him, I might run away and have a torrid affair with Hagrid, it would serve you right" Harry new Draco was joking "Dray I've let you keep the pigeon, three rabbits, a turkey, a vole, an incredibly bad tempered goose and two turtles" Draco grinned "there's always room for more".

Harry thought about this, there wasn't room for more, but it did give him an idea. What if there was more room? Like a farm sized property, or to be more precise a farm. Harry started looking, it didn't have to be in good nick they were wizards and could repair with a wave of a wand.

It took surprisingly little time to find a suitable farm. Harry started to get to work, he wanted the place at least habitable before surprising Draco, he'd also bought Fuzz Bod and a second highland cow off the farmer along with two pigs and he'd bought 8 sheep from an auction.

At last the day came the farm was ready, Harry looked at his husband who was avidly reading up about sheep herding, which was his new interest, which came about after they'd watched Wallace and gromit a close shave, he sided "Draco?" The blonde looked over smiling "having noticed your new interest, and not particularly wanting to come home to the flat filled with sheep, I have a compromise".

Harry apperrated them to the farm. Draco saw Fuzz Bod in the field "you've brought me to see Fuzz Bod, I've missed him so much" a huge smile spread across Draco's face as he took off running down the short path yelling "moo!"

Harry quickly walked up behind Draco grinning "do you think the other animals will be happy living here with us? There's 60 acres of land, so more than enough room for animals, and theirs more space for the existing animals, and the 8 sheep and two pigs I bought you, well they wouldn't fit in the flat"

Draco's head turned very slowly "8 sheep?" Harry nodded and pointed to the little flock trying to act nonchalantly "well I know that you want to try sheep herding, and they wouldn't of fit in the flat, so instead of renewing the lease on the flat, I bought us this farm and Fuzz Bod and friend, and two pigs, I really like pigs, it's the tails". Draco stood in shock looking at his husband "you bought a farm, so I, I mean we can help more animals?" Harry nodded "surprise?"

Draco looked at Harry took out his wand and disappeared. Harry sat on the grass and looked up at the two highland cows, trying to figure out if Draco had been happy, he'd just looked shocked. He been so sure that Draco would be happy, but he'd just disappeared. Harry looked at Fuzz Bod "did I make a mistake?" The cow gave a moo, he looked at the cow and spoke "sadly I don't speak highland cow, snake I speak but not highland cow, what if he doesn't come back" the huge cow bumped his head against Harry's, as if saying that he was talking complete nonsense, but Harry still wasn't sure. He decided to make Draco a sandwich, then sat with the two cows.

It was half an hour before Draco came back with the rest of the animals along with two peacocks "sorry for rushing off, I had to collect the rest of our family and tell mother and father. I hated that flat it wasn't big enough for our family. They said we could add two of the peacocks to our family" Draco was practically bouncing with excitement "we could get a horse or goats".

Harry's body relaxed "I made you a sandwich, so you like it here then?" Harry gestured round the farm, from where he sat on the grass. Draco sat down took the sandwich and put it next to Harry then launched himself into his husband's arms and kissed him.

A year later.

Harry stood by the gate waiting for the new arrival, he smiled at the sign 'The Potter and Malfoy menagerie and rehoming agency, we never put a healthy animal down' Draco appeared grinning as he led the huge animal carrying a smaller one "I'm bit shocked, but she kinda gave birth on the way here, I'm guessing that was why she was out of sorts" Hagrid came out of small dividing forest, his eyes lighting up seeing the huge Graphorn and baby. They walked past Hagrid's relocated home into the forest where they were greeted by a group of Thestral's and other animals from the wizarding world "al get um settled in" Hagrid took the baby from Draco. Harry grinned "well done, we can add midwife to your portfolio"

Hagrid smiled as he opened the door to his homely shack, finding Harry making the celebratory we have a new addition hot chocolate, and Draco feeding a lamb. Harry looked round at his family, his husband, a half Giant, a lamb with three legs, a parrot that couldn't fly, a few squirrels that were clinging to Hagrid and two orphaned Thestrals. Looking round the room he smiled it was an odd looking family but it was his, his perfect family.
