After the events at Woodsboro, Sam needs a safe place to stay with the friend group. She thought Mystic Falls would be perfect with its small town, but it's actually worse. Her, Tara, Chad, and Mindy try to live a normal life, but with vampires, witches, hybrids, doppelgangers, and heretics, they are nowhere near that goal. The group will have to survive killers, rippers, and lovers while trying to save their sanity.
