Go poppy, go poppy!
More awkward silence.
They were just looking at each other, not sure what to say. Ginger tapped him on the shoulder.
That scared Sprout to death, he didn't even see her move. He turns flustered, as he falls to the floor from shock. Then he gets back up, his face turning black-ish due to embarrassment.
"I'm sorry, I- I overreacted", Sprout said.
"Which floor did you press on the elevator buttons?", Ginger asked.
After a few seconds of thought, Sprout then realized that he forgot which floor he had chosen.
"I don't remember..", Sprout said.
"..."
"..."
"..."
This went on for the whole elevator trip, safe to say it was very quiet. And I would like to skip it. Because Awkward silence is NOT romantic.
Timeskip ten minutes
They had arrived at the ground floor, mostly known as the lobby. Where Dandy sells some trinkets and merch, their mastery also.
They walk to Dandy's shop, Dandy was already there. Despite him literally being in the tea party a few moments ago.
"Come to see your mastery?", Dandy asked.
"How are you here...?", Ginger asked.
"I'll take that as a no!", Dandy said.
Sprout turned to Ginger, ignoring Dandy.
"He has some secret way to travel, I'm not sure how..", Sprout said.
"A flower never revealed his secrets!", Dandy laughed.
Ginger took a few steps back, muttering about how it was a magician and not a flower. But she doesn't want to get worked up for that.
"We'll take our tapes somewhere else...", Sprout said.
As they were about to leave, a purple box and a blue semi transparent sphere walked past them. And went to Dandy's shop.
"I'll take a boxo' chocolate and two pops", Poppy said.
The girl looked confident, while the purple box seemed a bit more timid. They both look nice.
What surprised Ginger more, was the fact that this was a food stall. She thought it was a mastery thingy, and costume place.
"We could buy food here?", Ginger asked Sprout.
Sprout nodded. They didn't noticed a certain mirror walking by them
"There's another shop, which is based on Christmas food. It's ran by the first Christmas toon, Bobbete", Sprout said.
Dandy handed Poppy the goods she asked for, as she handed in the tapes in return. Dandy was smiling as always, but maybe more so since he enjoys the suffering he will cause to Glisten.
"Y'know Poppy, you and Boxten would make a really nice couple", Dandy said.
Dandy smiled, looking at Glisten who was behind Boxten and Poppy. Dandy knew that Glisten had a crush on Boxten, and he planned to use that information...
Glisten looked hurt and betrayed by Dandy, since Dandy was one of the few people he told about his feelings for Boxten... while Boxten and Poppy were embarrassed, especially Boxten.
"Ay- That's not true!", Boxten said, his face turning black-ish.
Poppy decided to play with Boxten, as she pointed out his obvious blush that was on his purple face.
"I can see you blushing...", Poppy teased.
Boxten heard soft whimpers and shuffles behind him, it sounded like someone who he knows. Poppy was too busy having fun teasing Boxten to hear Glisten's weeping.
Glisten tried to hide his tears, while Dandy was watching him with a cruel smile. Glisten ran away before Boxten turned around to see him crying.
"Glisten?", Boxten asked.
He turned around, to see no one except for Sprout and Ginger. Who both were obviously not crying, and were of the wrong voice.
Boxten turned to Poppy, as Poppy handed him his pop. He graciously took it, although he was still worked up on the crying earlier.
"I swear I heard Glisten crying..", Boxten said.
"Are you hallucinating now? Oh well, you're still team poppy so I don't care about your delulu!", Poppy said.
Boxten smiled looking at her, the one he loved. As he cheered along with her, Poppy was jumping in celebration, Poppy was very energetic to say the least..
"Yeah.. Go poppy, even though you made a machine explode", Boxten said.
"Nuh uh.. Go poppy!", Poppy said to ignore him.
