Gimme em' tapes
They followed Teagan to the elevator, as she clicked on a button.
She pressed for the ground floor, also known as the lobby for some reason. Csomo assumes it's an inside joke among the mains, while Sprout assumes it's an inside joke among the handlers.
“Miss teagan, who's Dandy? Sprout mentioned him”, Ginger asked.
She was referring to when Sprout was talking about masterys, when he mentioned a name Dandy.
“Please, call me Teagan. Dandy is a friend of mine, he usually sells costumes and little trinkets for tapes”, Teagan said.
“Tapes? What are those? ”, Ginger Asked
Sprout chimed in with an answer, safe to say he loved tapes for his ability.
“Tapes are special, I don't know why but Dandy likes them. And I can heal others using it! ”, Sprout said.
“That's... Nice”, Ginger said.
“Yeah it is”, Cosmo said.
After some time, the elevator dings as they arrived at the garden (fan made floor)
Ginger looked in awe, so does Cosmo and Sprout. They had never seen this garden before, mostly because Cosmo and Sprout stayed in the cafeteria.
“This looks so nice”, Sprout said.
“I had invited you Sprout many times. You never came”, Teagan said.
“I..mhm..”, Sprout tried to make up an excuse.
At the tea party, there was Brightney, Dandy, Rodger and Glisten. Toodles and pebbles are running around in another section of the garden.
Ginger sat on the fancy chairs, as she looked at the garden. Lots of hedges, and there was the open field where a kid and a dog were playing around.
“Hmm... Is this a new toon?”, Rodger asked.
“Yes dear, her name is Ginger. Be nice”, Teagan said.
The zesty looking mirror sipped his tea, as he looked at Ginger. His eyes lit up.
“Oh my gosh! I love your eyeshadow”, He said.
“..Thank you? ”, Ginger said
“Ginger right? I'm Glisten”, Glisten said.
Cosmo and Sprout looked uncomfortable, since they don't know Glisten, Teagan, brightney or Rodger that well.
“Glisten.. What have you been up to?”, Sprout asked.
“Y'knoww, like make-up and oh yeah! Teagan's helping me with my eyeshadow game, because I'm like sooooo bad”, Glisten said.
Teagan nodded, as she took a sip of her tea. She looked refined and elegant.
Brightney was just drinking tea, and eating the biscuits that Teagan had prepared.
“Brightney, where's Connie? I thought you'd said she'd come?”, Teagan asked.
Brightney's face dimmed, well literally since her light bulb darkened slightly. She seemed upset.
“She said she would come.. It's fine though, we can still enjoy without her”, Brightney said.
Ginger sat closer to Sprout, as she looked at Cosmo. Than at Sprout, as she whispers into his ear.
“Are you uncomfortable? We could leave..”, Ginger whispered.
“Yeah I am, but I can do it”, Sprout said.
“Ask Cosmo if he's okay also..”, Ginger said.
Sprout nodded as he whispered to Cosmo, than Cosmo promptly left his seat. As he walked to the elevator. Leaving Ginger and Sprout alone.
“I'll catch up to you later bro, I just... Gotta do something”, Cosmo said.
Sprout was internally yelled at Cosmo for abandoning him when he was clearly in an awkward situation. At least Ginger was here.
“That was the first time I heard Cosmo talk”, Rodger commented.
“Dear. Please don't be rude”, Teagan said.
“Oh sorry”, Rodger said.
“Is he your husband?”, Ginger asked.
“Yes, his name is Rodger. He's not very talkative, but he's very sweet”, Teagan said with a smile.
Rodger slightly blushed at Teagan complimenting him, but decided not to comment on anything about it, Teagan seemed nonchalant at his reaction as if this is a normal occurance.
