Cake-y
"Let's start!", Cosmo said.
"Mhm! Let's start", Sprout said.
Ginger took the ingredients, some gardens view in-house flour, milk, eggs, butter and an array of frosting.
As Sprout cracks the eggs with Ginger, since Cosmo is very clumsy and has a ★ skillcheck.
Cosmo decided to talk about their game show, he was very proud about it. And he wanted to impress Ginger, his older cousin.
"Y'know, me and Sprout have a game show where we bake and show cool things! ", Cosmo said.
"Really? That's nice, must be fun", Ginger said
"It is!", Cosmo said excitedly.
As sprout cracks the last brown egg, he decided to join in the conversation, he smiles awkwardly.
"How about you be apart of our show?", Sprout suggested.
Cosmo nodded, some of his frosting fell on the floor due to how fast he shook his head. As his eyes shine up.
"YES- I mean, yes!", Cosmo said
Ginger didn't want to be apart of any show, since she didn't like attention that much. And she just got there, she doesn't even know if she can look good in the camera.
"Cousin, I don't think so", Ginger said.
"Huh? Why not, it'll be fun", Cosmo said
"I- hmm... Did you preheat the oven?", Ginger asked.
Cosmo looked surprised, as he jumped up and kept his hands behind his head and skedaddled to the oven, Ginger sighs as she avoided the conversation.
"I FORGOT, Sorry!", Cosmo said.
"And you call me dumb.. Hehe", Sprout laughs.
"Shut up, you're still dumb", Cosmo said.
Cosmo heated the oven, and than walked back to them with a pouty expression. Sprout laughs it off, pointing at Cosmo. While Ginger chuckles a bit.
"I'll shift the dry ingredients", Ginger said with a smile
"I'll prepare the frosting!", Sprout said.
"What flavor would the cake be?", Cosmo asked.
"Ginger bread?", Ginger suggested.
"Wouldn't that be like eating your own kind for you? ", Cosmo asked.
"I mean, we aren't actually are objects.. We're just made of ichor", Ginger said.
"Oops, I forgot", Cosmo said.
"Same dough, yet Cosmo didn't get the smarts, you know what I mean?", Sprout jabs at Cosmo.
Ginger walks away, while Sprout contemplates whether his joke landed or not. Ginger got the flour, sugar, butter and red velvet extract.
"We'll make red velvet, everyone agrees?", Ginger asked
"Of course!", Cosmo said.
"How about some caramel toppings?", Sprout asked.
"Caramel and red velvet?", Cosmo judged.
"That sounds good, actually", Ginger said.
"What an AMAZING combination, cousin!", Cosmo praised.
"Didn't I-", Sprout was cut off.
"Shut up Sprout", Cosmo said.
"Awh man..", Sprout said dejected.
A few minutes later
Sprout held down the mixer, as Ginger pours in the dry ingredients first that she had shifted earlier. Cosmo is huddled in a corner, using a pot lid as a shield.
"ARE YOU TWO DONE YET?", Cosmo said, his voice barely audible to the mixer.
"I CAN'T HEAR YOU", Sprout yelled back.
"BOTH OF YOU, SHUT UP", Ginger yelled back.
"COSMO, GET YOUR ASS UP AND BE USEFUL", Sprout said.
After some time, the mixer stopped. As the ingredients are well mixed. Cosmo put down the pot lid, as he grabbed a stool so he could see the counter.
"Let's pour in the batter!", Cosmo said.
Sprout got the cake pan, three cake pans for three layers of cake. While Cosmo was jumping on the stool.
"Cosmo, you'll fall just like me", Ginger warned.
Cosmo settled down, as he stopped jumping on the stool. They poured the batter into the pans, as Ginger added the red food dye.
"I thought red velvet was naturally red", Cosmo said.
"... It's not, trust me", Ginger said
