Chapter 2
Sprout walks to the cafeteria from the elevator, where he said he was meeting up with his best friend Cosmo to bake some cookies.
He spotted the brown log of Cosmo's head from miles away, and he called out to him
“Cosmo! Cos, I'm here!”, Sprout called out.
Cosmo looked happy and he ran up to Sprout, and dragged him in the kitchen where someone else was there.
“Sprout! I have a cousin, her name's Ginger!”, Cosmo exclaimed.
She looked like.. Well a gingerbread man, she looked beautiful, Sprout noted how she looked more human than the rest of them, she's a new toon and is apart of the 'Christmas' batch.
Sprout was feeling awkward, talking to stranger and all, but she was his best friend's cousin so he'll try to get along with her.
“Uhh.. Ginger right? Why... Why is there a bite in you?”, Sprout asked.
Ginger giggles, as she flicks the thick frosting of her hair, as Cosmo looked over the moon. She knew he was referring to the bite mark, and half of her head was gone.
“Mhm... I guess it's because Delilah designed me?”, Ginger suggested.
Sprout feels dumb for asking, it's pretty obvious actually.
“Oh.. You look nice”, Sprout said.
“Of course she looks nice, she's prettier than you”, Cosmo said.
As Cosmo smacked Sprout's bald red forehead, Sprout rubs his head. As he silently tells Cosmo to stop it because he doesn't want to get embarrassed in front of Ginger.
“Yes- I know”, Sprout said.
Cosmo went to Ginger's side, she was much taller than both of them. Which is good since they have problems with getting to the top cabinet.
“Sprout was it? Cosmo told me a lot about you”, Ginger said.
“Yes I did”, Cosmo said.
“I uhm... Thanks”, Sprout said.
Cosmo pulled Sprout down to reach his ear, as Cosmo whispered into Sprout's ear.
“Why are you so awkward bro?”, Cosmo asked.
Sprout recoiled back from Cosmo, as he stammered out an answer to give to both of them.
“Because you're putting me in an awkward situation, use your brain Cos”, Sprout said.
Ginger laughs at the two of them, as she takes a step forward. Her hands are held together, as she holds great posture.
“I think you two are forgetting why we're here..”, Ginger said.
“Wha? Oh right! Baking, I almost forgot”, Cosmo said.
“Hey uh.. Can you get the top cabinet, we want to get the fancy frosting my handler gave me yesterday.. It's in a red box”, Sprout asked Ginger.
“Mhm? Sure, I don't see why not”, Ginger said.
Cosmo looked pretty happy, since Sprout has been raving about this special frosting since yesterday night.
Ginger took a stool, she taller then them but she's still only four-ish feat tall. She leaned in on her tippy-toes as she looked for the 'special frosting'
Sprout was standing next to her as she was getting the frosting, he was looking up to see if she got the special frosting.
“Hey Sprout, don't push her”, Cosmo yelled.
“What- I wouldn't do that!”, Sprout said
“She's a new toon, and Dandy told me to protect her. I will rip out your stalk if you make her angry”, Cosmo said.
“C'moonn you know me”, Sprout said.
“Remember that time when you made Vee really angry?”, Cosmo asked.
“I just told her that her veemote looked dirty, so I gave it to Tisha to clean it! I didn't know it would destroy it..”, Sprout said.
“You're pretty dumb Sprout, but you're my best friend so I forgive you”, Cosmo said.
“Jeez, thanks”, Sprout said sarcastically
