"Oh, Theseus."
Leta pulled Theseus closer to her in the bed. "....I'm so tired.." He mumbled against her neck. "I know, dearest... just go to sleep." Leta whispered to him, pulling the covers up. Theseus muttered something underneath his breath, before looking up at Leta again.
"Leta... please, never leave me." He said quietly, while taking her hand and kissing it softly. "I promise I won't, Theseus. I have no intentions of leaving you on your own." She replied, running her hand through his soft brown curls.
The two began drifting off to sleep. Leta kissed Theseus' forehead softly. Theseus began to snore quietly, still resting his head on Leta's stomach. "...I love you, dearest. I always will." She whispered, before pulling away gently and falling asleep herself.

Theseus woke up to the sound of birds chirping. He grumbled as he sat up and rubbed his eyes. His eyes widened as he saw that Leta wasn't in bed with him. "...Leta..?" He groaned. She looked at him through the doorway, sipping some herbal tea. "Hmm? What is it?" Leta sat back down next to him on the bed. "...what's for breakfast...?" Theseus asked, running a hand through his hair.
"I've made some beignets. I've also made some toast to go with it." Leta replied, kissing his forehead. "Thank you..." He whispered, smiling at her lovingly. "It's alright, dearest." She smiled back at him. They both made their way down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Smells good." He mumbled, sitting down at the table and yawning. "Mhm. Here you go, love." Leta placed down a plate with some toast on it. It also had a beignet on the side.
He picked up the toast and took a bite. "This is good... and... I just want to say that I'm glad you take care of me... even when I'm at my worst and im being rude..." Theseus sighed. Leta kissed his lips and placed her hand on his shoulder. "Of course, dearest." She spoke softly, pinching some of his toast for herself. "Oi!-" He exclaimed, making Leta giggle. "Oh, Theseus..." Leta's hands moved up to his cheeks.
"How could I ever be mad at you, Leta....?" He mumbled.

Those were some of the last things he said to her before attempting to stop Grindelwald with Newt, Tina etc. He couldn't believe that she was dead. At all. Newt told Jacob that Theseus looked as if he was going to break down right there and cry.
After the funeral of Leta, Theseus was miserable nearly all day. Tina and Queenie tried speaking to him but failed.
It was a sunny afternoon when Theseus and Newt met again. "Oh, brother." Newt smiled upon seeing his older sibling. "Hi..." Theseus responded. "How are you doing?" Newt began walking with Theseus. "..fine, I suppose.."
