Chapter 3: Hunger Pains
Harry woke up with a pounding headache, it felt worse then when Dudley and his friends had stomped on his head 10 times during a particularly vicious game of Harry Hunting. Harry also had hunger pains worse then ever before, which was saying something considering he's gone weeks without eating before.
Stumberling out of the alley, Harry began to look for some sort of shop he could steal from. He knew stealing was wrong but he was so hungry. The sun was harsh on Harry's eyes and made his headache so much worse.
Harry turned the corner and found he was right near a place called the mystic grill, maybe he could scavenged some left overs when someone left their table. Deciding it aas worth a shot, Harry walked into the bar and looked around, he noticed it was all big kids in here and no children, feeling scared he stumbled backwards and bumped into an older girl. "Sorry" Harry whispered. "Aww it's alright little guy, are you lost?" Harry just nodded his stomach aching even more and his throat feeling extremely dry. The girl began to lead Harry outside presumably to find his "parents". Harry felt really hungry now and everything was so noisy he could hear a load thump thump thump noise coming from the girl in front of him. Harry zoned in on a vain in her neck that seemed to be pumping something that smelled really sweet, it smelled so good - too good. Harry attacked.
As the sweet thick red substance filled Harry's mouth, he remembered the strange man from the night before and the terrible thing that happened to him. Tears began to stream down Harry's face as he drained the last of the girls blood from her body. She dropped to the floor - dead.
Harry sank to his knees beside the body. What had he done. He had drank her blood and killed her like some monster. He really was a freak, just like his uncle always said.
