Himiko's POV
Kokichi has been relentless lately with his lying. I wanted nothing more than to knock him down a peg or even better, get him to stop all together. How hard is it to tell the truth every now and then? So I made a plan. I opened my spell books to try and find a spell to hopefully get him to stop lying so much.
My intention was to give him a truth spell but I must have said something wrong because all my spell did was turn him into a toddler. He didn't stop lying at all but he found it much harder to pull pranks on everyone. I didn't change him back right away, I needed to research how to do so. It wasn't my intention to turn him into a child so I needed to research it some more.
Shuichi seemed extremely interested in taking care of a toddler Kokichi. Everyone was pretty sure the two were dating before I cast my spell so this came as no surprise to any of us.
The next day though, I was out in the hallway of dorm rooms and Kaede was talking to Shuichi. Soon enough a small Kokichi came running out of Shuichi's room, stumbling over his own feet.
"No!" The small boy yelled.
"Huh?" Kaede looked to the ground seeing the tiny child start hitting her legs. I couldn't help but laugh. I approached the group as Kokichi tried his hardest to push Kaede away with his little strength.
"My Shu!" He yelled again.
"Shuichi isn't just yours Kokichi, he's everyone's to share." Kaede laughed.
"No! My Shu! My Shu!" He pounded harder on her legs but to no avail.
"Awe. It's gonna be ok kiddo." Shuichi squatted down to lift up the child.
"Shu!" Kokichi leapt into his arms, pushing him to the ground.
"Hey Himiko, any progress on that potion?" Shuichi seemed desperate.
"Not yet, sorry Shuichi." I felt bad, he still had to deal with Kokichi and all of his antics.
"Shu! Shu! Shu!" Kokichi smiled brightly.
"Yes, yes, I'm right here Kokichi." He sounded like a tired father.
"Well I should go anyways, Miu's helping me with something and she'll get mad if I'm late." Kaede smiled and quickly left.
"I can watch him today if you need a break Shuichi, it's my fault he's like this anyways." I offered.
"Could you? I haven't been able to talk to Kaito in days," Shuichi sighed, "Someone doesn't like Kaito." Shuichi pinched Kokichi's cheek.
"Kaito stinky!" Kokichi crossed his arms, "too big to push!"
"I can watch him, maybe I can find a spell today. You wanna be a teenager again, don't you Kokichi." I went to pat his head but he swatted my hand away.
Shuichi set Kokichi down and he followed me to my room. Kokichi sat there crying about his "Shu" the entire time. It got really annoying really quick. Luckily someone knocked on my door, ready to help me.
Tenko and Angie entered my room. Kokichi clung to my leg at first, though they had both already seen him since he was turned into a toddler so he had no reason to be so scared.
"It's ok Kokichi, we won't hurt you." Angie got down to his level.
"Yeah! We're just here to play some games with you!" Tenko followed suit.
"Finally, I need a break." I closed my magic book and sat on my bed exhausted.
"Hey Kokichi, I got some outfits from Kirumi, wanna play dress up?" Angie held up some small outfits she had asked Kirumi to make for her. Kokichi looked mortified and started crying loudly.
"I think that means he's excited." Tenko smiled.
"I mwiss Shuuu!" Kokichi cried.
"Awe, he misses his boyfriend." Angie awed.
"Boyfwend?" Kokichi stopped crying just to tilt his head.
"Yeah, are you trying to suggest you and Shuichi aren't dating?" Tenko genuinely asked the still toddler.
"Boyfwend..." Kokichi seemed to smile and calm down a bit. He threw his arms in the air allowing Angie and Tenko to dress him up. It was oddly cute seeing him smile, the only times I've seen him happy through this entire journey of being a toddler again was when he was with Shuichi or talking about Shuichi.
Angie put the last dress on Kokichi that she had gotten from Kirumi and another knock was placed on the door. Shuichi walked in and immediately Kokichi ran to him and hugged his leg. "Shu!"
"Did you... put Kokichi in a dress?" Shuichi hesitantly asked.
"Dwess! Dwess! Dwess!" Kokichi jumped.
"It's cute." Tenko added.
Shuichi picked him up and Kokichi wrapped his arms around Shuichi's neck the best he could. Angie stood up and handed Shuichi the other clothes she had Kokichi try on.
"Hey are you two dating?" Angie asked.
"What?" Shuichi looked surprised.
"Boyfwend!" Kokichi smiled with a laugh.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Shuichi's face was red, making it clear he was lying.
"Bad liar." Kokichi lightly hit Shuichi on the head.
"Hey, I didn't come here to get interrogated." Shuichi awkwardly stated.
"I was just curious." Angie smiled.
Tenko pushed the two boys out of the room. Angie and Tenko stayed the night in my room, attempting to find a solution to the problem at hand. By morning we finally found something that seemed like it may work.
I ran out of my room with Tenko and Angie to see Shuichi was still in his room. Before I turned Kokichi into a toddler, he taught me how to pick locks like he does so I went to Shuichi's room and picked the lock.
I entered to see them both still asleep, the morning announcements hadn't gone off yet so this was expected. Shuichi was laying in his bed with Kokichi in his arms like a big teddy bear. It was quite cute.
I said the spell while Kokichi was asleep and couldn't move around, I didn't want to accidentally miss him. Much to my surprise, it worked. Kokichi slowly grew until he was his normal size. It woke them both up however.
"I'm back!" Kokichi sat up in the bed.
"You're welcome, I used my magic." I smiled proudly.
"I'm not thanking you, you're the reason I was stuck like that in the first place." Kokichi glared at me.
"Hey, Himiko could have left you like that!" Tenko defended.
"Can you leave now?" Shuichi looked extremely tired, he pulled down on Kokichi to get him to lay back down next to him.
"Sure, we'll leave you two lovebirds alone." Angie started to push me and Tenko out of the room. Before we left though, out of the corner of my eye, I could see Shuichi kiss Kokichi's cheek and Kokichi do the same in return.
