With the additional help of Ningguang, Ganyu and Keqing got a day off for Valentine's. Ganyu was hesitant, thinking about all the work still remaining. It wasn't an easy task to convince her, but finally, Keqing was the one to put her mind at ease.
- Come on, leave the rest to us, and go enjoy your date. - Those were the last words from Ningguang, before Keqing dragged the blue haired girl out of the room.- Feel free to tell me about it!
The date was going pretty well. They stopped for a meal. Keqing's treat, even though Ganyu tried to split the bill. A walk through Liyue's harbor, while holding hands. Ganyu tried to return the favour by gifting her some handmade tea. Thinking about what could be the best time to close the perfect date with a long awaited kiss, the tension grows between the both of them. A couple seconds, Ganyu takes a glance at her, followed quickly. One of their favourite spots, a place where you can see the whole city from. Sitting now next to each other, Ganyu doesn't wait to lean towards her lap, feeling now how nervous she also is. Her legs are shaking, which makes her jiggle. The atmosphere was perfect, it made the perfect room for the so anhelated kiss between them. They try to look straight at each other,a volatile look. Looking away, their cheeks turning red and warm. Keqing places her left hand on Ganyu's face. She jiggles a little bit, and makes a comment about how soft her touch is.
- You know... This Valentine's day... I alwasy thought I'd spend it with you, Ganyu. - Keqing express, in a timid voice.- But to be able to spend it so next to you. It's been like... What? 2 weeks of dates already? Time runs so fast when I'm with you. I still remember when you tried asking me... It was so funny that I got first to confess my feelings... But here we are.
- It sure feels like it's been more time together... What's the plan now? We could go and spend time on the mountains, we could go back to my place, or yours. Or maybe I- Ganyu's voice was silenced by Keqing placing a finger on her lips. The nerves were taking the space. A quick hold of her face, while looking for a couple seconds, just to let Ganyu know her date was as nervous as her.- Why are we so nervous? Should we... Should we do it now?
- GANYU! What are you suggesting? I... I don't think we can do that in public.
- Why not? It's just a kiss... Is it okay to kiss you here, my love?
- Oh, It's just... A kiss... - Keqing slowly regains her breath, taken before by her thoughts. - Well I mean... Do you want... To?
Ganyu gets up, but still sitting. Their faces, blushing, while they try to get closer. One little step at a time, they began closing her eyes, and Ganyu reached for Keqing's hand. Hearts beating so fast, they know the time is quickly approaching. A shine can be seen on both visions. Suddendly, it hurts for a second. Surprised, both lean back, questioning what happened. The first one to notice was Ganyu, who saw how a small trail of Cryo could be seen on the ground, still electrified.
- Are you okay, Keqing? Did I hurt you? -Trying to look in every inch of her skin, revealing there are no injuries. It seems the reaction was just the surprise for both of them.- What was that?
- Well, your vision reacted to mine... Maybe the situation made us use it unconsciously - Taking a quick look at hers, Keqing realises it's still glowing.- Maybe this was too hasty.
Ganyu, mimicking Keqing's action, looks at the cryo vision. It's shining too. Reaching again for Keqing, she leans fully for that awaited kiss. Astonished, she remains vigilant for the same thing to happen again for a moment, until she calms down, occupying her partner back, and letting a deep breath. The time it ended, Ganyu held a smile right to Keqing, and gave her a quick another one. "You can't have just one, right?", that were her words.
