The Easter Eggs in Injustice The El Dynasty

Current Publicly Available Information in the Chapter notes at the beginning.
- The Anime series of ‘Attack on Titan’ shows information of the series as the ‘Current Publicly Available Information’. This foreshadowed the world of ‘Attack on Titan’ (They fought against the regime in the next fic) was going to be involved.

Wonder Woman killing Harley Quinn in the chapter 2
- The way Wonder Woman splits Harley in half after slashing Harley’s chest is a homage to Shao Kahn’s fatality in Mortal Kombat 9. The same method is also used when Green Guardian kills Damian Wayne (Regime Timeline).

Superman’s zombie troops
- The idea of Zombie troops embedded with Brainiac’s technology was based on of the robotic monstrosities Darkseid created from the dead heroes in ‘Justice League Dark - Apokolips War’.

Wonder Woman’s ‘I killed Oliver Queen! I killed Oliver Queen!” quote in chapter 4
- The quote is a homage to the quote ‘I killed Sirius Black! I killed Sirius Black!” by Bellatrix Lestrange in ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’. This was done to show Wonder Woman (Regime Timeline) is as evil and insane as Bellatrix, while foreshadowing the involvement of the Wizarding World in the ICU.

Chapter 5 title ‘YOU CAN(NOT) RESIST’
- The title is based on the film titles of The Rebuild of Evangelion, ‘YOU ARE(NOT) ALONE’, ‘YOU CAN(NOT) ADVANCE’, ‘YOU CAN(NOT) REDO’. This foreshadowed the world of Evangelion getting involved as well, while showing the Superman (Regime Timeline) is unbeatable.

Superman mentioning ‘Peace through Tyranny’ in chapter 5
- ‘Peace through Tyranny’ is a famous motto of the villain of the Transformers, the very leader of the Decepticons, Megatron. This foreshadowed Transformers also exists in the ICU.

Superman crushing Captain Cold’s frozen corpse after Cold’s self destruct
- It was a homage to Sentinel drone crushing Iceman’s corpse in the film ‘XMEN Days of Future Past’.

Hal Jordan mentioning Doomsday in chapter 6
- After the insurgency’s attempt to attack the regime fortress in Metropolis failed, Hal suggests that the insurgency should rely on Doomsday to defeat Superman, as a last resort. Even though the suggestion was denied by Starfire who claimed Doomsday was still under Superman’s control, the help from Doomsday became sort of a reality when Green Guardian, who succeeded Hal Jordan, used Doomsday construct armor to brutally beat up Wonder Woman (Regime Timeline) and stopped the regime from destroying his world and killing his loved ones.

Powergirl killing Black Adam in chapter 6
- Kara says ‘If only I had killed them all from the beginning!’, as she kills Black Adam, pummeling the Kahndaqi to death. This was the same way Superman killed Green Arrow in Injustice Year 1, foreshadowing Kara’s eventual descent to madness like her cousin’s. The quote was taken from ‘Attack on Titan’ when Eren’s titan faces the female titan for the first time after the bitch killed Levi’s squad.

The Flash’s ‘I know it is, because I don’t know what we’re gonna do if it doesn’t’ quote in chapter 7
- This quote is the same as what Captain America said in ‘Avengers Endgame’. This was done to show Barry was as heroic as Steve Rogers, while foreshadowing the existence of the Avengers. The same goes for Hal’s ‘We have to use it, NOW. We lost all of us. We lost friends, family, home, and even part of ourselves’.
