Regulus Black, the handsome and confident Slytherin prince, had always been one to turn heads. But it was one particular day that he set his sights on a very flustered James Potter, Gryffindor’s beloved Quidditch captain.
James had just finished his practice and was on his way back to the Gryffindor common room when he heard a voice from behind him. “James, my dear Potter!” Regulus called, his tone smooth and suave.
James turned to face him, taken aback by the sudden attention. “Regulus,” he managed to reply.
Regulus sauntered over to him, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “You’re looking quite disheveled, my dear,” he teased, regarding James’ sweaty hair and flushed cheeks.
James shifted uncomfortably, not sure how to respond. He had always found Regulus attractive, but the fact that he was a Slytherin made him wary.
Regulus seemed to sense his hesitation and placed a hand on James’ shoulder, leaning in close. “Don’t be afraid, Potter. I’m not going to bite.”
James felt his heart race as he looked into Regulus’ dark, piercing eyes. He had never seen such confidence and charisma in anyone before.
Regulus seemed to sense his attraction and smirked. “You like what you see, don’t you?”
James blushed, feeling his cheeks heat up at the implication. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he stammered, trying to play it cool.
Regulus chuckled. “Relax, Potter. I won’t tell anyone. Besides, it’s not like I’m the only one who’s noticed.”
James raised an eyebrow, confused. “Noticed what?”
Regulus leaned in closer, his breath hot on James’ ear. “How you look at me, Potter. I’ve seen the way you watch me in the Great Hall, the way you linger when we pass each other in the halls.”
James felt his stomach flip at the confession. He had tried to hide his feelings for so long, but it seemed that Regulus had seen right through him.
Regulus continued. “You’re not the only one who’s noticed, though. You have quite a few admirers, Potter.”
James scoffed. “I find that hard to believe.”
Regulus smirked. “Believe it, Potter. You have a certain charm that draws people in. And I, for one, am quite drawn.”
James felt his heart skip a beat at the admission. He had never imagined that someone like Regulus, who had his choice of partners, would be interested in him.
Regulus seemed to sense his hesitation and leaned in even closer, his lips brushing against James’ ear. “What do you say, Potter? Want to spend some time with me?”
James felt his resolve crumble at the offer. He had always been curious about Regulus and couldn’t resist the temptation any longer.
Without a word, he grabbed Regulus’ hand and led him to an empty classroom, far away from prying eyes.
As soon as they were alone, Regulus pressed James against the wall, his lips on James’ neck. James moaned, feeling a rush of desire coursing through his veins.
Regulus seemed to sense his need and moved his hands down James’ chest, deftly unbuttoning his shirt. James felt his breath catch as Regulus’ hands trailed over his bare skin, lighting a fire within him.
For hours they explored each other’s bodies, lost in a haze of passion and desire. It was a passion that neither of them had ever experienced before, a feeling that burned so bright that it threatened to consume them both.
As they lay there, tangled up in each other’s arms, James knew that he had found something special in Regulus. Something that he would hold onto for a long time to come.
And as Regulus leaned in and kissed him deeply, James knew that this was just the beginning of a beautiful, complicated, and exciting new chapter in his life. A chapter that he wouldn’t trade for anything in the world.
