Chapter 4

Harry and Tom were sitting comfortably on the leather sofa in front of the fireplace, the warmth of the fire providing a cozy and cozy atmosphere. Harry looked relaxed with relaxed shoulders and a smiling face as he explained to Tom about Hogwarts and the four founding houses.

“So Hogwarts is the most prestigious school of wizardry in the world, located in Scotland. The four houses are Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin. Each house represents a particular quality, and each student is assigned to one of these houses based on their personality and values,” says Harry.

Tom listened intently, his eyes wide open, marveling at the description of the school. “And how are the houses? he asked.

“Gryffindor is the home of those with courage, daring and determination. Ravenclaw is the house of the most intelligent and studious, which values wisdom and creativity. Hufflepuff is the home of the hearts on their sleeves, who are loyal, fair, and hard-working. And finally, Slytherin is the home of those with ambition, determination and who value cunning and mischief,” Harry replied.

Tom thought for a moment. "I think I'll be in Slytherin," he said in a voice.

Harry smiled, he wasn't surprised at Tom's response. "You know, Tom, there's something I need to tell you about Slytherin. The house's founder, Salazar Slytherin, was known for his ability to speak with snakes. This language is called Parseltongue,” Harry explained.

Tom was fascinated. " Really ? It's incredible ! »

"Yeah, but there's a chosen one you need to know." This ability is hereditary and is passed down from generation to generation. So if you could speak the snake language, that meant you were a descendant of Salazar Slytherin,” Harry clarifies.

Tom couldn't help but smile. He already saw himself as a descendant of Salazar Slytherin, with all the magical powers that came with it. "I want to learn this language!" he exclaimed.

Harry laughed softly. “I'm sure if you work hard, you might get there one day. But remember, Tom, the house you belong to is not as important as the person you are. »

Tom nodded slowly, but he couldn't help thinking that Slytherin would be the best home for him. He never wanted to be without power or money again, without the ability to protect those he loved. He was determined to fight for his place in the world, no matter the cost.

Tom was fascinated by the stories Harry told him about Hogwarts and the four founder houses. Upon learning that the descendants of Salazar Slytherin could speak the snake language, Parseltongue, Tom began to dream of a house at Hogwarts where he could finally find the power he needed to protect himself and Harry.

He remembered the days spent at the orphanage, the long hours of waiting for food, the beatings and insults from Billy and the bullying from the matron who called him a child of the devil. He didn't want to go through all that again. Tom needed power, control and respect. He knew that the house of Slytherin was renowned for producing ambitious and powerful wizards who were able to get what they wanted. Tom was determined to be part of this house.

He looked at Harry in awe, knowing that he had already accomplished incredible things as a wizard. Tom had the impression that Harry was different from all the other wizards he had met. He was powerful, but humble. He was intoxicating, but did not seek glory. Harry had everything Tom wanted to be and he knew that if anyone could help him become stronger, it was Harry.

Tom had always been a lonely, independent boy, but he was beginning to realize that Harry was the only person he trusted. He was afraid that other wizards would use him for their own ends, but he knew Harry never worked him. Harry was the only person who really cared about him, and Tom wanted nothing more than to make him proud.

So he decides to work hard to get admitted to Hogwarts and be sorted into Slytherin. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but he was willing to do anything to get what he wanted. He was going to learn Parseltongue, hone his skills in magic, and earn the respect of all who got in his way.

Sitting on the couch in front of a roaring fire in the mansion Harry had bought, Tom couldn't help but smile. He was happy to finally feel at home. He had finally found a place where he could be himself, a place where he could feel safe. And thanks to Harry, he had finally found his calling.

---------

Tom cherishes Harry more than anything. He knows he is lucky to have a loving father like him. Harry is always there for him, ready to pamper him and shower him with affection. He never misses an opportunity to give him gifts, like books at Tom's request, to make him happy. Tom feels honored and privileged to have such a father. Harry is an amazing man, Harry is really great and Tom tries to make it all for him proudly. In muggle school, Tom works hard and expresses good grades, which makes Harry very happy. He knows that to make Harry proud of himself, he has to work during school, he studied diligently and instantaneous good grades, which met a smile on Harry's face.

Harry is also very tactile with Tom, which is one of the things Tom loves the most, which can sometimes make him uncomfortable. However, he can't deny that he loves it when Harry flicks his hair before he sleeps. And Tom can't help but snuggle up to him, smiling. Harry has always been a loving and caring father, and Tom is so grateful to have him in his life.

However, Tom doesn't always show his feelings to Harry. He feels like he needs to be strong and independent, especially after everything he's been through at the orphanage. But Harry knows how to read between the lines and he knows how much Tom appreciates and loves him. And that's why he continues to pamper and spoil him, because he knows that's what Tom needs to feel loved and safe.

But sometimes Tom notices that Harry is sad and thinking. He doesn't want to disturb him, because Harry has forbidden him to enter his office when he's busy. However, one day, Tom promises himself to defy the ban and go inside and search the office.

There are also times when Harry is absent, his mind elsewhere. At night, when Tom is asleep, Harry sits by the window and watches the starry sky. Tom observes him sometimes without being seen, hidden in the stairs. He sent that he must look deeper to understand what is bothering his father.

Tom wants Harry to be proud of himself, but more than anything he wants Harry to be happy. He knows it's up to him to find a way to break through his father's shell and find out what's on his mind. Tom promises himself to find a way to support him, just like Harry always supports him.
