Ginny walked down to the Quidditch pitch, confusion over taking her as she walked into the Gryffindor changing room.

“Harry, are you in here?” she called as she headed over to the captains desk. A piece of parchment with her name on caught her attention so she picked it up to read it

Ginny, I’m on the pitch, you don’t need your broom. Harry x

Ginny turned around and headed out onto the pitch, smiling in the spring sunshine.

“Hi Ginny, you found me then?” Harry smiled as Ginny walked over to him.

“Is this a picnic?” Ginny asked as she sat on the rug Harry had placed on the grass.

“Of course. I wanted something nice for our date and as we can’t go to Hogsmeade for another 3 weeks I thought this would be nice,” Harry sat down across from Ginny and offered her a mini quiche.

“This is amazing. All future dates will be held to this standard though,” Ginny laughed as she lay back on the rug, looking up at the clouds.

The pair stared up at the clouds until suddenly it started to rain.

“Typical, one minute it’s sunny and then it’s raining,” Harry grumbled as he gathered everything up and led gInny back into the changing room.

“It’s spring in Scotland, of course this was bound to happen” Ginny shook her head as she looked out at the castle “I guess we just wait here until the rain stops, although maybe future dates should be inside just to be on the safe side”

Harry laughed ash he pulled Ginny into his arms “I don’t care what the weather is doing so long as I get to spend time with you”

The pair sat on the bench and ate the snacks Harry had arranged for the pair of them as they waited out the rain. Harry looked at Ginny and smiled, this was much better than the last date he had been on.
