Blood Quill
Claude had always been an advocate of discipline and order, but there were some things that even he could not condone. When he found out about the Blood Quill, he was outraged.
The Blood Quill was a dark object that could be used to force someone to write with their own blood. It was a cruel and sadistic form of punishment that was outlawed in most magical communities. But apparently, someone at Hogwarts had gotten their hands on one and had used it on his grandson.
He had noticed a scar on Ambrosius's hand that he couldn't explain few weeks ago. When he asked his grandson about it, Ambrosius had become evasive and reluctant to talk about it. But after some prodding, he finally confessed that he had been forced to write lines with his own blood as a punishment for a minor infraction.
Claude was horrified. He couldn't imagine the pain and suffering that Ambrosius must have endured. He knew that he had to take action and make sure that this never happened again.
He immediately sent a letter to the Headmaster of Hogwarts, demanding an explanation and calling for disciplinary action against whoever had used the Blood Quill. He also contacted the Ministry of Magic and filed a formal complaint, demanding an investigation into the matter.
He didn't care who was responsible. Whether it was a teacher or a student, they needed to be held accountable for their actions. No one had the right to use such a cruel and barbaric form of punishment.
As he waited for a response from Hogwarts and the Ministry, Claude became more and more restless. He couldn't shake the image of his grandson sitting alone in a dark room, forced to write with his own blood. It was a violation of everything he stood for as a father and a grandfather.
He was planning to be a good grandfather to his only grandson damnit. Who the hell has Blood Quills for detention!?
“I want that Umbridge woman gone and for this world’s Minister for Magic to pay!” He shouted in anger as soon as Felix delivered the letter.
Felix nodded in agreement, "I completely understand your anger, Claude. This is unacceptable, and we will not rest until justice is served."
Claude paced back and forth in his study, his mind racing with thoughts of what he could do to ensure that something like this never happened again. He knew that the Hogwarts Board of Governors would have to take action, and he vowed to use his influence and connections to make sure that they did.
But he also knew that he couldn't rely solely on the authorities to solve this problem. He had to take matters into his own hands and ensure that Ambrosius was protected from harm. But he also knew that the Board wouldn’t take action if his grandson kept facing danger ever since he started Hogwarts. And he’s fifteen now!? Were they waiting for him to drop dead or something?
So he stormed the Ministry. He knew that the toad had intentionally revealed his grandson’s newfound identity, so she should know how much she messed this up.
He didn't bother with formalities as he barged into the Ministry of Magic. He went straight to the Minister's office, where he was met by a young, nervous-looking wizard.
"Where is the Minister? I need to speak with him urgently," Claude demanded.
The wizard hesitated before answering, "I'm sorry, sir, but the Minister is not available at the moment. Can I help you with something?"
Claude scoffed. "I doubt it, but you can try. I'm here to demand justice for my grandson, who was subjected to a barbaric form of punishment at Hogwarts. And I know for a fact that your subordinate, Dolores Umbridge, was responsible for revealing his identity and putting him in danger."
The wizard's face paled, and Claude knew that he had hit a nerve. He continued, "I want her dismissed from her position immediately, and I want the Ministry to launch an investigation into the use of Blood Quills at Hogwarts. This cannot go unpunished."
The young wizard stammered, "I-I understand, sir. I will inform the Minister of your concerns and see what can be done."
Claude glared at the wizard before storming out of the office. He knew that he had to keep the pressure on and make sure that justice was served. He wasn't going to let anyone harm his grandson and get away with it. He had already let people get away from their treatment to his daughter when she was young, and he’ll be damned if he let this happen to his grandson, not while he’s alive.
As Claude left the Ministry, he felt a sense of determination wash over him. He knew that this was only the beginning of his fight for justice, but he was willing to do whatever it takes to protect his grandson and ensure that no one else had to suffer like he did.
He spent the next few days making calls, sending letters, and rallying support for his cause. He talked to other influential members of the magical community and urged them to join him in his fight against the use of Blood Quills and the corruption at Hogwarts. He used his status as the emperor from a different world. And those inbreds were actually scared due to his status.
He dares the man who killed his son-in-law and his grandson’s godmother to attack him. He’s ready for this so-called Dark Lord.
His efforts paid off. The Ministry launched an investigation into the use of Blood Quills at Hogwarts, and Dolores Umbridge was dismissed from her position as the Hogwarts High Inquisitor. The Board of Governors also took action, implementing new disciplinary measures that prohibited the use of any form of physical punishment.
Claude was satisfied with the outcome, but he knew that his work wasn't done yet. He continued to monitor the situation at Hogwarts and made sure that his grandson was safe and protected. He also became an advocate for the rights of students and fought against any form of abuse or mistreatment.
In the end, his determination and perseverance paid off. He had succeeded in his mission to protect his grandson and ensure that justice was served. And he knew that he had set an example for others to follow, inspiring them to fight for what is right and just, no matter the cost.
