Café

James Fleamont Potter was ecstatic as he strolls around the muggle london. It was summer, and his loving parents allowed him to go around the muggle world. It was the last day of summer.

He was looking around with the confusing muggle money in his pocket as a small cafe caught his eyes. Café de Obelia. Weird name, but he has read even weirder names so he entered.

It was quite cozy on the inside, it reminded him of home. It was empty too.

“Hello! How may I help you?” He turned to his side and couldn't help but gaped lightly in shock.

She was a beautiful girl, about the same age as him really. She has long wavy golden hair tied in a high ponytail, she was wearing a black mermaid skirt and white butterfly shirt. And her hair has soft bangs that actually framed her most beautiful feature.

She has jewel-blue eyes, it was so beautiful.

She was smiling softly yet brightly at him, “Do you need anything, sir?”

He frantically looked at the menu above the counter, “Uhm, one Mermaid Mousse and one Mermaid Tea, and could I also have six boxes of Wizard's Spell Cookies on the go?”

“Of course!” She nodded, “Please take a seat while I go prepare your order, sir,”

It was quiet. But the ambience of the cafe was so warm and comforting, that even the silence was welcomed.

It took 30 minutes for the pretty lady to come back with his order.

The mermaid mousse has a color that reminds him of the sea, and it is decorated with edible pearls and shimmering glitter to give it a magical and whimsical appearance. The mermaid tea may be served in a clear glass teacup that showcases its vibrant colors and swirling patterns, and garnished with edible flowers to the magical and enchanting experience.

“Here it is, sir, a slice of mermaid mousse and a cup of mermaid tea,” She placed them all down, “Enjoy your food,”

James simply smiled at the girl and started eating. The taste was absolute heaven, his friends would love it! Thank Merlin that he bought those cookies for them to try, he’ll give a box for his parents.

“Here are the six boxes of Wizard's Spell Cookies. And it would be 315£,” She placed the six boxes he ordered.

James smiled and took 500, “Keep the change miss,”

“B-but..!” She tried to protest.

“It's fine, think of the rest as a tip for the warm welcome to your shop,” He grinned at her, “But you have to give me your name too, I’m James by the way,”

She smiled back, “Thank you so much, sir! Please come again soon, and my name is Athanasia, it’s a pleasure to meet you, James,”

He nodded and walked out of the café with a huge smile on his face. He couldn't help but feel that he would definitely come back to the café someday, not just for the food, but for the warm and welcoming atmosphere that the pretty lady has created.

As he walked away, he looked back at the café and saw the girl standing at the counter, still smiling brightly at him. He smiled back and waved goodbye, feeling a strange sense of connection with her.

Little did he know, this chance encounter with Athanasia at Café de Obelia would lead to a series of magical adventures and a lifelong friendship that would shape his future in ways he never could have imagined.
