Chapter 1
The shock
It was 7 am when Harry was awoken by a tapping on his bedroom window, when he looked over he saw that it was a ministry owl and opened the window immediately to grab the letter, Harry felt nervous thinking about why he was about to be kicked out of school for this time but instead, it was a letter asking for Harry to be a witness for the trial of Sirius black.
Harry didn't even know Sirius had asked for a trial to be exonerated but was over the moon when reading the letter, he had to be at the Ministry of Magic on July 25th at 13:30 so the ministry could view Harry memories of the night they claimed to have seen Peter Pettigrew.
Once Harry had finished reading the letter he grabbed a piece of parchment and wrote to Sirius
Dear Snuffles
I got a letter from the ministry today asking me to come in on the 25th of July for them to view my memory's for your trial WHY DIDNT YOU TELL me that you were putting in to get a trial if you're exonerated?
this will be the best thing ever
You won't have to hide anymore and maybe we can finally be a real family. Anyway, hope to see you before the trial the Dursleys are driving me crazy with all the chores.

Harry gave the letter to Hedwig and sent her on her way. Harry was so over the moon he thought nothing could bring his mood down, well that was until he went downstairs, Harry was walking into the kitchen when he was greeted by a slap in the face by Vernon 'What the fu-' Harry said taken aback by the sudden slap.
Vernon hadn't physically put his hands on Harry since he started his third year 'What the hell was that for?' Harry asked rubbing his hand on the spot he was just hit "That was for taking your sweet time to come, downstairs boy, we have guests coming over for lunch and you need to clean the house I will not let them think we're a bunch of hilly Billy's living in a disgusting house so you better start cleaning now"
Once Vernon stopped ranting about how Harry was so lazy and ungrateful for them allowing him to stay in the house and for raising him Harry went upstairs to change into his housework clothes that were filled with bleach stains and all other titles of cleaning products, he started to clean the house.
Harry had managed to clean the house top to bottom in 2 hours and just in time for the Dursley's guests to arrive where Harry was then banished to his bedroom and ordered to stay silent.
When Harry went back to his room Hedwig was still gone but there were 2 new letters on his bed, he sat down grabbed the top letter, and ripped it open
Dear harry,
Hiya Harry, I shouldn't be telling you this but I and snuffles will be coming and collecting you tonight for a reason I cannot write over letter but I thought I should let you know in case you decide to blow one of our heads off or something

Saw Remus was writing ya a letter so I wrote one just to say hey and see you soon

Harry put the letters back into their envelopes and started to quietly pack so that the Dursleys don't come and scream at him for 'making too much noise
After Harry had packed Hedwig finally arrived back home Harry safely put her back into her cage and decided to take a short nap
That short nap turned into a 5-hour-long nap and Harry was awoken by a screech from downstairs "What Are you FREAKS doing here?" He heard Petunia yell and whisper so the neighbors couldn't hear
Harry guessed it was Sirius and Remus so he grabbed his things and headed downstairs
"They're here for me aunt petunia," Harry said bumping his case on the stairs "What the hell happened to your face, Harry??" Sirius asked looking at the side of Harry's face where previously his uncle had slapped him.
When Harry didn't reply Sirius had the answer to his question he turned towards Petunia "Really your gonna let your musty old husband beat up your nephew 'tune' that's low even for you" he said giving the Dursleys a death stare.
"Right pass your trunk here Harry I'll carry that for you" I heard a voice say from behind Sirius and immediately recognized it as Remus's voice.
I finished walking down the rest of the stairs gave Remus my trunk and practically had to drag Sirius out of the house given he was still death staring at the 2 adult Dursleys.
"Is anyone going to tell me where the hell we're going?" Harry asked getting frustrated now, of course, he was happy to be leaving the Dursleys but he would like to know where he was going next "Not out here Harry wait till we're in the car!" Sirius replied walking me towards the dark part of privet drive "Car?" Harry said shocked "Yes a car Harry you never heard of one?" Remus replied jokingly " well yeah but I thought we were going to you know Fly?"
"Well not today kiddo nope I would be killed if I lost you on the way there," Sirius said as they jumped into the car " Please tell me this one doesn't fly" Harry stated buckling himself twice just incase "no Harry the car doesn't fly.. are you sure your okay you don't have a concussion do you?" Remus asked looking at Harry worriedly "What? No in my second year Mr. Weasley made this flying car me and Ron stole it and well get knocked out by the whomping willow almost got hit by a train I almost fell out of the car into my death'' he said leaving Remus and Sirius in total shock
"Damn, we shoulda done that when we were at school," Sirius said earning a smack from Remus. Harry decided not to ask where they were going in case he ended up with a slap on the head.
Harry didn't know how long the car ride was because he ended up dozing off in the back seat and only woke up when Remus shut the door as he was getting out. "huh what happened" Harry said shooting up from his sleep after hearing the bang "oh sorry pup Remus is just a lil bit mad at me" Sirius said scratching the back of his head. Harry just nodded deciding not to push it.
He jumped out of the car only to see more houses. "Uh, so why are we here can I know yet?" Harry asked as they were walking up to number 12 which Harry could have sworn was not there before. "We will let you know when we get inside pup ok" Sirius replied probably a bit fed up with hearing the same question over and over. "Sorry, Padfoot I guess I've asked that question a lot huh," harry said seeing the reaction on Sirius's face "Well I guess I'd ask the same thing if I was in your position" They finally made it to the front door where Sirius let them in.
The house looked like no one had lived in it for years and years there were cobwebs and dust in everything the hallway was sort of slim. Harry made his way to the end of the hallway where he could hear a very familiar female voice telling off a certain set of twins.
"Oh Harry dear you're here finally, dinner is almost ready why don't you head upstairs and find Ron and Hermione?" She ushered him out of the room and shut the door behind her.
