Draco didn’t mean for it to happen. He didn’t mean to get a little tipsy and show up on Harry’s doorstep.
He had been going through a very hard time lately. He had broken up with his boyfriend of 2 weeks. Dave was his name? Or maybe Daniel. Draco didn’t care. He was still stuck on the boy that changed his life 12 years ago on the Hogwarts steps in first year.

Harry did not expect Draco to turn up to his house at midnight on a Monday night.
After the war, Draco and Harry had kept in touch. Draco had apologized, and Harry accepted his apology, and after that they had hung out occasionally. They hadn’t talked in a few months, so Harry was surprised to see the blond in the pouring rain in the middle of the night.
“Draco? What are you doing?” Harry asked, opening the door wide open. Draco's hair was soaked, and so was his clothes, sticking to his slick figure. Draco was breathing kind of heavy, like he just ran.
“I uhm-” He stopped, clearing his throat, putting his hands in his pocket. Harry frowned, knowing he was nervous. Harry reached out and grabbed Draco’s arm, pulling him in.
“You’re gonna get sick standing out there.” He mumbled, shutting the door after Draco walked in more. He locked the door and turned to Draco who was looking at him, a few steps away.
“Is Ginny here?” Draco asked quietly. Harry put a hand to the back of his neck.
“Uh, it didn’t really work out. We broke up a month ago.” Harry said. It was a mutual agreement, they both just lost their spark for one another. They are still really good friends now.
“Oh, I’m sorry to hear that.” Draco said, not sounding sorry at all. Harry almost laughed.
“It’s ok.” Harry said. There was awkward silence between them for a second or two until Harry looked around.
“Would you like some tea?” Harry asked with a smile, looking back and Draco.
“No, I will be going shortly, I just need to say something.” Draco said. Harry nodded, encouraging Draco to say more. Draco cleared his throat and shifted in his place a little. After a few seconds, he took a deep breath and looked at Harry.
"I think I'm in love with you." Draco said. Harry's eyes widened in shock. He heard his heart beating in his ears. He opened his mouth to say something but was cut off by Draco taking a step towards him.
"You don't have to say anything or even feel the same way, I just need you to know that this is how I feel. From the very first time I saw your name on the daily profit I was intrigued. The first time I saw your eyes I felt butterflies in my stomach. Every time we are in public I only see you. I tried moving on, Harry, I really did, but my heart is only for you." By the time he was finished talking he was panting a little from the nerves and talking so fast. Harry opened his mouth and shut it again three times, starstruck. Draco swallowed and looked at the door, then Harry. He walked one step closer to Harry, close enough that if Harry put his hand up he could touch the other.
"Tell me to go and I'll go." Draco mumbled. Harry swallowed and lifted his hand, putting it over Draco's heart.
"This is probably a bad idea." Harry whispered, looking up and into Draco's eyes. Draco looked at his gorgeous green eyes and beautiful pink lips.
"Probably." Draco said, putting one of his hands on Harry's. Harry thought for a moment. He just got done with a break up and now here he is, almost kissing his former enemy and praying for some courage to say no to this, but it never came. He wanted this. Draco was what his heart wanted.
"You have me, all of me. You always have." Harry said. Draco didn't hesitate to kiss Harry. Draco moved his hands to Harry's face, and Harry put his hands on Draco's waist, pulling him in more. Sure, his clothes were soaked and they were also making Harry's clothes wet, but it didn't matter because at this rate they would be off soon.
How could Harry ever say no to this?
