The Trip to Nepal
The trip to the League of Shadows......absolutely sucked balls.
"You sire you're ok?" Bride asked Nina, worryingly, seeing her girlfriend shivering, "Should you have stayed behind, maybe?"
"I'm f-f-fine, my s-s-suit j-just need to adj-j-just to this weather....." Nina said, trying to sound tough, but everyone could see through it.
"One of the few times I'm glad not having skin anymore," Phophserus states, "how are you not shivering Bride?"
"I'm a collection of corpses, my nerves are dead." Bride only half-lied, she definitely feels Nina's kisses, but only Bride and Nina knows that.
"All right! Enough!" Flagg ordered, "We're nearing the landing site! Remember, this plane isn't landing, we're jumping!"
"Grundy's butt hurts from sitting for so long." Grundy whined.
"It's ok, Grundy, we'll be j-just fine." Nina tried to assure Grundy and Bride was glad to see she was telling the truth as Nina was shivering less.
"Alright team! We're jumping!" Flagg stated, "Parachutes are available, couldn't find any that fit Grundy, sorry big guy!"
"Grundy hates backpacks." Grundy responds as he walks towards the opening door.
"Grundy? What are-" Before Flagg could ask, Grundy then jumped out until he hit the side of the mountain, "he jumped too early.....alright team, second objective, find Grundy and head to Ra's Al Ghul's stronghold!"
"Flagg, quick question, " Phophserus asked, "what exactly could take a military plane down?"
"I guess an anti-aircraft gun, why?" Flagg answered and questioned, when his response was Phosphorus pointing out the window.
As soon as Flagg looked out the window, he received his answer.
"Oooooh, fuck my life....." Flagg said as a rocket hit the helicopter and everyone was being thrown about, "Evasive maneuvers, don't bother waiting, just go!"
G.I.Robot was the first with his parachute.
"G.I.Robot ready to deploy!" G.I.Robot announced before he jumped backwards and out the helicopter.
Phophserus had a difficult time strapping his parachute on until Flagg helped him and then threw Phosphorus out the helicopter before looking to Bride, who was doing the same as Flagg and helping Nina get her's on.
"Ready?" Bride asked Nina, knowing full well the answer.
"Fuck no!" Nina yelled, making Bride smile and then pulled Nina in to kiss her, "......ok, now just a regular no."
Bride could live with that as she and Nina runs out the helicopter and they both felt as if they were being thrown about by some invisible force.
Nina was panicking, she couldn't tell what was up or down, if she was falling to the ground or going up into the sky. Bride told her to count to 10 before pulling the strap.
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.......10! Nina pulled with all her might......and was being thrown about due to the strong winds.
She was lucky to have landed in the snow. Nina climbed out of the snow mound made by her impact and dusted herself off, immediately looking around and panicking.
"Bride! G.I.! Flagg! Phophserus! Flagg! Grundy!" Nina yelled, finally glad her suit has finally adjusted to these freezing temperatures.
"Friend Nina!" Nina suddenly heard, all too happy as she recognizes her friend.
"G.I-aaaaaaah!" Nina suddenlypanics as she just sees G.I.'s head, "G.I. are you alright!?"
"Do not worry about G.I.Robot!" G.I.Robot explains as his hand comes out from the ground......Nina sighed in relief, G.I. wasn't just a head, he was simply sunken into the snow, "Please step back, friend Nina! G.I. will free itself."
Nina stepped back, and watched as G.I.'s head started vibrating till........his upper torso spinning rapidly, almost causing a snowy tornado.
"G.I.Robot is now free to kill people similar to Nazi's!" G.I. announced as he marched out of the snowy crater. Nina simply chuckled.
"Alright, it is good to see you G.I., but now we gotta find Bride and the others." Nina states.
"Fear not, friend Nina! G.I.Robot will use its heat sensor from his upgrades and we shall find our friends!" G.I.'s eyes glowed bright red and his head turned 360° until it stops and he points a random direction, "G.I.Robot's sensors are picking up a massive heat source over there!"
Nina already knew it wasn't going to be Bride, which did sadden her a little but she decided to focus on finding all her friends.
Nina and G.I. walked for what seemed like hours......til Nina noticed something glowing in the distance.....it was green.
"Phosphorus!" Nina yelled, happy to see another friend. Phosphorus turned to look at them.
"Hey, kiddo!" Phosphorus greeted, "Glad to see ya made it, the tin man as well."
"Did you see anyone else?" Nina hoped Phosphorus would have some kind of idea.....until he pointed up the tree.
Nina looked up an dalmost laughed......Flagg was stuck hanging upside down a tree.
"I swear, of anyone laughs!" Flagg threatened, "Just help me down!"
"Hey, I got no idea how to get him down without burning the entire tree." Phosphorus confesses.
"There has to be something we can-" Before Nina could finish, a loud bang sounded off, making both Nina and Phosphorus covered their ears.
Flagg fell into the soft snow with a loud thud.
"Ow......thanks G.I......." Flagg groaned. Nina was happy she found three of her friends......but now they needed to find the rest of their friends.
-Somewhere with Bride-
As her chute was pulled by the winds, Bride was viciously being beaten by trees until she ended up hitting the ground.
"Fuck......that actually hurt....." Bride shook her head, until she started looking around, "Nina! Nina! Fuck, I need to find her......wait, what's that?"
Bride heard a distant moaning, as if someone was trapped. Bride decided to investigate......but instead of her Angelfish, she found someone else.
"Grundy!?" Bride saw her behemoth teammate in a crater......obviously made by himself when he jumped.
"Uuuh, weird head lady help Grundy?" Grundy moaned as he sat up. Bride didn't like Grundy at first, his appearance reminding her of Erik.....but she soon found that Grundy wasn't anything like Erik, so she knows she can trust Grundy, "This not fancy house......."
"No......you jumped too early, dumbass!" Bride yelled, "you had us add finding you to our mission."
"Grundy sorry....." Bride now felt bad, Grundy was simple minded, and working with him took......patience, Nina's specialty.....
"Look......we just need t-" Bride stopped mid-sentence as she felt something, quickly turning and drawing her pistols, "you hear that?"
"Hear what?" Crap......Bride almost forgot Grundy was just brute force, not tactics.
Before Bride could instruct Grundy......a massive shadow enveloped them.....and crushing them.
Bride and Grundy, despite their strength combined, couldn't break through whatever was attacking them. Soon, their struggling stops......the darkness coming off their unconscious forms and forming a shape......the shape of a man.
The man was pale-skinned and dressed all in black, his wardrobe resembling that of a Victorian gentleman. He was once an independent criminal, infamously known as The Shade. He walked cautiously in case they were simply playing possum, he then poked the Bride's face, confirming they are defeated. He then raised his hand to his ear.
"You were correct, master." The Shade spoke into the microphone in his ear, "Waller finally sent a team to get rid of you......"
"It matters not, Shade, we move ahead of schedule. I have called my top disciples, and you are late." A calm, calculating voice responds, "Take them both, we may need them as bait."
"Understood, master...." Shade responds as he taps his cane and shadows envelope him and his hostages.
And seconds after departing, the rest of the Commandos arrived at the location.
"Grundy's definitely been here!" Flagg states, "G.I., can you locate anything!?"
G.I.'s opticals narrowed as he scanned for any previous disturbances to the ground. He spun his head multiple times......until it stopped about a foot from the crater.
"Weight, height, shoe size, and footwear are all similar to friend Bride just a foot from where friend Grundy landed!" G.I. reported as he pointed to the direction......until his finger pointed somewhere else, "Weight, height, shoe size, footwear, and extra hole defining the person who stood there had a cane. From G.I.'s reports on the mission, G.I. suspects former criminal, now known contract killer for anyone similar to a Nazi, The Shade!"
Everyone was shocked to hear that two of their physically strongest teammates were now held prisoner by a death cult terrorist group, the League of Shadows!
