A Teeny Tiny Problem

Harry's life consisted of trouble with him defeating his professor and you-know-who in his first year and defeating a basilisk in his second and almost being french kissed by dementors in his third.
Yes Harry's life was just.....great.
But nothing could've prepared him for today's events. After all he was alone in a bathroom with none other than Draco Malfoy
Oh and a teeny tiny snake hovering over them ready to gallop their flesh.
Just in case harry hadn't mentioned it; he hated his life.
The basilisk emerged from the darkness, its huge eyes blazing with flames. It hovered over the two boys, its breath hissing and crackling with deadly venom. The basilisk was glaring at them, its fangs shining with acid.If this didn't work out, he'll be dead meat.
'Calm down!' he shouted. 'Lower your head and stop hissing.' The basilisk froze, its eyes wide with surprise. It didn't stop hissing however. Harry knew that it was stupid to think that a magical being like it would listen to the words of a young naive kid.
The massive creature was breathing fire and it seemed ready to swallow both Harry and Draco whole The basilisk shot forward towards Draco, its eyes flashing, and it let out an ear-piercing screech. There was fire coming out of its mouth and its tail waddled smashing the pendant lights that were hanging on the ceiling.
The basilisk shot forward towards Draco, but before it could strike him, he ducked below the bathroom sink and hid. He could feel its heat, and the flames from its breath shot towards him, but he managed to survive with just a few burns. "Leave him alone" he commanded, and the basilisk stopped dead in its tracks.
The basilisk shot towards Harry, its deadly gaze fixed on him. Harry dodged and dashed into a bathroom stall. "You can ssSsspeakss the ss. mighty sh..ss language?" The basilisk glared with its tiny yellow eyes, droplets of its venom fell from his mouth and onto the sink dissolving immediately.
"yes, I can. I apologize, I didn't mean to summon you," Harry said, trying his best to calm the basilisk down."I don't have need your assistance right now, so I ask that you leave us alone."
"Sh.mortals...ss you s.may speak my language, but you're.sSshh..a bloody fool if you think I'll simply go when I have my lunch in front of me," the basilisk hissed its eyes blazing with hatred like pits of fire.It burned the bathroom stall in seconds.
Harry looked into its eyes fiercely and spoke a final command, "Behave. and leave I've already dealt with your kind once you don't want to end up like it." instead of obeying the basilisk breathed a flame at him, but Harry was quick enough to dodge and get out of its range.
Harry was deep in thought he had to act, and he had to act now! but how? He is defenseless this time with no powerful spells or a magical sword, soo how will he defeat the basilisk!? "that's it" Harry thought; he could invade the basilisk's mind see it's memories tried can use them again it.
He pointed his wand at it's head. "Legilimency" Harry yelled, a flash of light Blinded his eyes He realized that it had worked!! He was in the basilisk's mind, he saw flashes of the monster killing people. He saw it destroying villages, devouring people whole, and laying waste to everything in its path.
"Sssskill...blood..sS...ripp..eat," the giant snake thought. Harry shuddered remembering the events that took place in his second year. How he'd heard the same words; how he found both nearly headless Nick and Justin paralyzed. Harry wished he could erase these memories.
Force someone to feel his terror Hiss head shot up had he been this daft? How had it not crossed his mind!? With a determined look Harry focused thoroughly on the events of chamber of secrets, mainly on the basilisk's defeat and lets it occupy its mind.
Harry is transferred into an old memory. He hears a great spitting sound among all the hissing, and he squints open his eyes only to catch sight of Fawkes puncturing the basilisk's other eye.
The blind snake sways madly around the chamber, and its tail sweeps the Sorting Hat into Harry's hands. Harry puts it on and wishes desperately for it to help him, and out of nowhere it produces a glittering sword, which Harry then slides into the mouth of the striking serpent, killing it.
Harry woke up with a jolt He could feel the fear in the basilisk's eyes, and he knew it understood exactly what he had shown her. The basilisk snorted and gave a final hiss.
"ssS fine.. stop...just takes...me...Back to..my home " Harry pointed his wand at the basilisk. "these..Sss..humans..sS. Talk.....toosh...much" it thought before disappearing Harry could hear the basilisk's thoughts before it completely faded. Suddenly, Harry collapsed on the ground.His body was shaking from the poison, vision blurring.
