Before anyone could fully comprehend what dimension they were in, phones lit up, eyes were rubbed, and the Squid Survivors GC video call launched—because apparently that’s what you do when one of your teammates gives birth mid-trauma recovery.

Soo-Young: wide awake, smiling like a proud aunt
Jeon-Yeong: sipping sparkling water from a wine glass, clearly emotional
Yun-Hee: in a hoodie, barely blinking

Min-Su: bundled in five blankets, eyes wide

Appears live from her hospital bed, baby swaddled in pink beside her, hair a mess but glowing like the queen she is.

“Y’all really turned the baby reveal into an after-dark drama special.”
Jeon-Yeong (188):
Wipes her tears. “Listen, if this kid doesn’t grow up to lead the next Squid Uprising, what was the point?”
Jun-Hee:
“Her name’s Seo-Rin, by the way. It means 'like a clean river.' Something peaceful. Unlike all of you.”
Mi-Na:
“She deserves better than us.”
Nam-Gyu:
