Summary
How we met.THIS IS INTENDED TO BE A SHORT STORY. also, sneak peak to possible future things? yeah.
Note
I made this becauAse i have no idea how to continue Termination...WHOEVER IS A FAN ILY.

I can’t….remember how we met. All i can picture is myself, crying, and you offering me a helping hand.

‘’Hey, those kids are gone now. What’s your name? Mine’s Asami!’’ were the first words you ever directed towards me. You looked like a messy child, and you had a tooth gap.

‘’Naomi…’’ I had answered you, in between sniffles and wiping the tears off my face.

At the time I wasn’t aware of how lucky I was to have you in my life, to have you as my friend. My best friend.

‘’That’s a pretty name! do you wanna be friends?’’
‘’…Okay…thanks…’’
‘’No problem!’’

Well, that was the first time we ever held hands. And our first conversation. I had only seen you as someone who would leave me as soon as I trusted you, but you never did. Years. Years passed, and you introduced me to them, our friends. Until eventually, I was twenty three, and you were twenty five.

We got…stuck inside a weird facility, with a bunch of people, including our friends. And…I always had this weird feeling about that one girl with flashy clothing. She never left me alone, and when I was with you… she looked angry. Furious, even. I never saw it coming, I know I should have.
‘’Naomi, where are you?’’ echoed out a voice, heels clacking against the floor, a dragging sound being followed along it.

Fear. Fear was everything I could feel in this instant. It all happened so quick it was too much for me to process it, to be honest. Everything was blurry from my right eye, I was tightly holding my right rib, since I was bleeding out. And lastly, all I could taste was blood, and metal, since that psycho basically bashed a baseball bat with spikes onto my face as if it was something normal.
‘’Maybe if I never found out…maybe if I didn’t try to find the exit.’’ I thought to myself.
‘’Maybe I would be up there, and this wouldn’t have happened.’’

well, I couldn’t really think much more, since suddenly, the clacking stopped echoing across the room. That meant nothing good.

‘’Found you!’’ whispered a voice, before I felt a solid kick to my stomach.
I couldn’t even react, really. It was all too quick, it was scary, terrifying even.

‘’I don’t like doing this, really! But…you know far too much, and even worse! You told everyone. We’re lucky no one saw through your words, though!’’

I stared at her with pure fear, holding onto my stomach.

‘’Maybe you should learn how to keep your mouth shut next time, it would seriously be better for you.’’

I saw her raising her bat, and just for once, I was afraid for my life. I regretted everything.

I wish I had told you everything, anything. But I always thought there would be a tomorrow. I always had thought a brand new day would be present, I always thought that.

Forgive me.
